DELL 7480 7490 BLACK SCREEN ISSUE! -- LGH

You will not believe what happened when I was getting Dell 7490's ready for My customer.This may not be for everyone but I had to post it. Every single one of them black screened! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS. I am DUMB or is DELL?

My 7490 has this exact issue, except none of this worked to fix it. What else could I do? Internals all look fine, I'm sick of opening this thing. 😑

so sorry you are having issues ...your cell phone is not on or near it?

@@LastGameHunter No! I isolated it on a wooden desk. I was able to reset it, issue is still there, so I know it's not software related.

@@LastGameHunter It's fine, I returned it. eBay purchase lol. Seems like a common Latitude issue, though. They're not bad laptops at all despite the black screen problem.

if it is freezing on you... check ram and hard drive/ssd

also make sure the cooling is clean and no build up on the vents, heat is # one for this

Just came across this video and yes I have the same issue on this Dell my wife gave me(her old laptop). I just ordered a new battery not because this issue. Battery doesn’t hold a charge. The only thing I tried to fix the black screen that worked was shutting down and restarting. Pain but it did fix the issue until the next black screen
