I was there December 2nd… incredible experience. I’ve been a massive fan since 1988 or so… I’ve seen them every tour since Zoo TV. I didn’t think I would see this show but my wife surprised me with the tickets. She has liked them but has never understood why I’m such a fan. Halfway through the show, she turned to me and said “I get it now.” I thought I’d enjoy this show, but they wouldn’t “get” me… I’ve seen them too many times, they’re older and while they were reprising my all time favorite album, it wasn’t going to be a new album tour where I’ll be hearing a segment of songs I’ve never heard them play before. I was sort of right… nostalgia made me emotional, but something else moved me to tears again. It took months to figure it out. As the shows were ending in March, it finally hit me: 1. They’ve always had moments where you see the friendship between the band, but they’re also putting on a “professional rock show.” After years without playing and then having to do this residency without Larry, they were so open with how they care about each other and how they were so thankful to Bram. 2. They went out of their way to show appreciation, extending that love and gratitude to the audience for coming to see them. They used all of the other-worldly technology of The Sphere and instead of just blowing everyone’s mind with visual pyrotechnics, they created a show where the technology created more intimacy with the crowd. The initial visuals were mind blowing and “professional rock show” stuff with callbacks to Zoo TV’s originality, but by the time we got to Tryin’ to Throw Your Arms, we were getting a glimpse into their lives… Bono was out too late and lost his keys again and Ali isn’t about to answer the door for this fool. The whole experience was a love-fest, and the band was more open with the audience and each other than I’ve witnessed in all the years I’ve seen them… that’s what stayed with me the most.

When Edge comes in at 1:02, I lose my mind every time. I'm talking throwing my hands up with tears streaming down my face. Their music is soul-stirring.

Went to the SPHERE October 25th. An unforgettable fire. 22 years before I saw them in BERLIN, WALDBÜHNE, Germany, and some more times in Hamburg, Wembley ... But SPHERE and BERLIN, WALDBÜHNE, were No. 1 and 2. Which one was No. 1? Don't know. So different. But to experience them in LV together with my daughters was a Once-In-A-Lifetime-Experience. Thanks for the chance to be part of it. ❤

Stephen Nyamayaro Mufuka, thank you very much for always being with me. I love you to the moon and back ❤️Family and friends, it is a treasure 💖 Peace and prosperity be with you.☘️ God bless us. 'Cheirinho'(XOXO) from Lulu 💙🍀🪶

I dont understand for the life of me why the lyric change happened. It made the greatest live song feel almost deadened. No red background? Well, not like usual. Imagine always identifying Streets with red lighting and then at the Sphere knowing you would be immersed in the Streets Red only to have that lackluster flag desert scene. No burst of light at the climax of the intro? Imagine how great that place would have been at that moment. With that intro into a boring, yes boring vocal it sounded like that song was literally running just to stand still. If you doubt me, just notice the crowd. Have you ever seen a crowd just standing there during this song? Make note, this is the only time in my 40 years of loving U2 that I have critisized them.
