I hate it that i am finished with this game after only 3 weeks. I just sat there and stared at the TV for 15 minutes as the Credits rolled and felt a sadness that is still with me. Like i lost a female friend and a young girl that i cared about and watched over - Why? I'm not Joel, why do i feel this way? I started replaying it right after the credits rolled too - just can't walk away from it. There will be a Part 3 but i am sad anyways. 10/10. Just a GREAT GAME.

It’s only been teased that there might be a part 3, but nothing’s for certain. I absolutely love this game, but I currently can’t see how there would be a good third part to the series. How exactly do you continue and make an equally/more compelling story after the first two stories have been told? I’m not against the devs making a Part III, but I’m not 100% sold on it either. I feel like this is a good, “leave them wanting more,” scenario, and honestly, despite how sad this story ends, I think I’d be okay with an ambiguous ending. Still, if they decide to make a third, I’d be interested to see where they take the story.

j2c09 i’d love a part 3, and think there’s still much potential because . A: they can show us more of what happened 20 years after the outbreak, since there’s so much that happened between Joel and Tommy and everything. B: I’d be very relieved with a happier story, maybe we can continue with Ellie, see where she goes, how they end up. Possibly go on another journey with Ellie. There’d Probably be conflict between Ellie and Tommy this time, but the ending to lou2 just left us so empty. We need a story with a climax. And the good thing is they can continue from the resources used in lou2, and make the game on the same enigne like they did with uncharted lost legacy, so we don’t have to wait 5 or some years again.

Jepfire 03 yeah. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love there to be a part 3 as well, but it would have to live up to the success as the first two (which I absolutely love). I’m just saying there’s a level of beauty in the way they ended part 2. It’s open to interpretation and discussion as to where Ellie goes and what she does next. If there was a part 3, I’d definitely want to continue to play as Ellie though. There’s just so much love there not to.

jeremy p plenty of devs get the love and recognition they deserve! I follow dozens of people who work at naughty dog, insomniac and sony Santa Monica etc. and there are always people saying nice things or trying to get their attention cause they admire them etc. The actors put a lot of their soul into the characters so it’s only natural, if you like a character it’s easy to appreciate what the actor has done evoke that from you.

They either have an agenda because it’s an affront to their sensibilities (derrrrr SJW, gay stuff derrrrrrrrr) or the game is too sad because their fragile little brains can’t handle something that is emotionally challenging, orrrr some people simply don’t appreciate the kind of art that is meant to be interpreted with galaxy brained tardos completely/utterly missing the little details, the hidden meanings and the deep symbolism littered throughout the game. No, I personally do not have any patience for those tards. That’s not a difference of opinion, it’s stupidity. The story is inconsistent and letting Abby live didn't make any logical sense since it doesn't fit the rest of the story, Ellie showed no signs of forgiveness nor hesitation of going after Abby, Ellie clearly wanted her dead through out the whole game and that is the only thing you see. No lead up to Joel's death as well the character being out of character. You like this game, good but just know that you like a game full of inconsistencies.
