I love listening to the old commercials and the great dramatic organ accompaniment.

I love listening to old radio programs. When I was little they were still being made. I went to the production and broadcasting of one with my mom and aunt. I was fascinated by the actors 'performing' and the foley man making the sound effects. Now when I listen to these I can still see what it all looked like. I have also been part of an audience at live TV show broadcasts and it is fascinating. Anything can happen and it's always fun when there is a glitch (blooper) and they have to keep going. I also love first night or dress rehearsals of professional plays because they have to deal with problems, which can be so funny

They should have made movies from these audio stories I think only 14 movies were made with the two great Homes and Watson...can't get enough of them

I love them too! But Mr. Rathbone, who was already a big star, felt that he was being typecast as Holmes and left both the film and radio series in 1946.

These Holmes&Watson radio programs are better than the movies. Not perfect but better at character interpretation of the two leads
