I don't understand why people still don't get the ass/asshole censorship. "Ass" can refer to an animal, and because of that it is a perfectly acceptable word. "Asshole," on the other hand, specifically refers to a part of the body, and is always used in a negative or rude manner. Nobody ever calls someone an asshole or mentions an asshole in a nice way, but someone could simply refer to a donkey as an ass and that's totally acceptable.
