I credit Humic as to being the biggest contributor to my lawns success in the last two seasons. More the better!

100% Agree! Apparently it’s been around for a while too. Farmers have been using it for decades!

Damn, that looks like some solid water pressure. It seems like mine is always falling off when any house on the block flushes the toilet 😂😂

The one big thing I don’t like about the Simple Lawn products is the lack of or missing on its labels of what’s inside. Case in point - Root Hume: Organic Humic? It does not show the percentages of what’s in it, which the Soil Hume does.

Do you like your Eley Hose Reel & Eley Hose? Curious if you’d recommend them? I love their disconnects.

Yes! I have yet to do a video on it, but they are awesome! Had mine for about 5 years or so now. Never had an issue.

What months do you normally use this for cool season grass. Is there a chart when to use each of the simple lawn products
@TheLawngineer2 жыл бұрын
Apply when the grass is actively growing. For humic products, you can apply every 30-45 days or so. Regarding the fertilizers (anything with NPK)…you would be “spoon feeding” the grass since there really isn’t that much fertilizer in each bottle. So you could potentially apply very often (I’ve seen some apply every two weeks or even weekly if they are on a liquid only plan). The type of fertilizer analysis you’d need would be specific to your grass and soil test results.

If I was thinking about spraying fertilizer down, is it ok to use this stuff in the video the same day? Then just water it in? Thanks
@TheLawngineer3 жыл бұрын
I’ve done it with out any issues.

Do you fertilize directly after this application?
@TheLawngineer2 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t matter. Could do before or after. Does not need to be right after.

I have in the past... but this bottle only covers 3,200 SF... and I have 4,000 SF of grass. I was already spreading it thin, so the shrubs didn’t get any love.

Hi, Enjoyed the video. Not sure where you arw located, I am j. PA, but wondering what time of year you apply this? Do you use it to protect your lawn from the summer heat? And, if you do multiple applications, how much time do you wait between applications? Thank you.
@TheLawngineer3 жыл бұрын
You can apply humic acid anytime during the growing season. I like to apply it every 30-45 days. Yes, this will help reduce stresses from summer heat, but it should be applied with enough water and when temps are below 85 degrees to make sure it soaks into the soil.

How often do you recommend applying?
@TheLawngineer3 жыл бұрын
You can’t really over apply this stuff, but I think the recommendation is something like every 30-45 days.

My big concern is using any type of herbicide or pesticide on the lawn and then trying to establish any hint of microbiology using humic acid or kelp. It just doesn’t fly for me. I try to use high quality organic fertilizers and bio stimulants but there’s just no way to attack pesky weeds organically and have the look everyone wants There’s not enough research out there to tell me that I’m wasting my time with organic if I’m using even a single chemical application I’m all for convenience but in my opinion those mixed, ready to apply bottles are a gimmick. I put a tuna can in 3 locations. One at the start of my spray . One on the midway point on my lawn and the 3rd at a point at the end of my application. The starting can was very different in color from the last can.So I feel you are sacrificing even product distribution for convenience. In the end, use a battery back pack sprayer and mix your own bio stimulants and you’ll save money LOL about seeing some noticeable difference using humic or kelp. In all my years the only visible difference is if you are adding iron to the spray then humic seems to accelerate iron uptake. Humic is not a fertilizer so it would take a rocket scientist to quantify specific results. While my soil structure is really good I could never say that it’s solely due to humates and ultimately I believe aeration with a light top dressing of quality compost is the best DIY improvement

Thanks for sharing. Backpack is definitely the way to go. This is quick and convenient and better suited for much smaller yards.

Dude, how can you say you received this bottle (promo), yet the one you open up with is used, almost empty. Come on... Take your free stuff, but don't be a contributing factor with shady vids.

Just a matter of filming and the order I recorded things. In the opening, I had already sprayed everything and all I had was the empty bottle.
