Great idea Nora! Especially when I leave for an extended vacation, since I’m always traveling. I can use this all the time in general.

Great idea and definitely a time saver however I don't like seeing the black tubing hanging from plant to plant. It takes away the focus on the beautiful plants.
@alfredarogers5197 Жыл бұрын
Maybe if the tubing was clear it wouldn’t be so distracting. I’ll pass on this gadget.

That's a pretty nice setup you have there, Nora. I might have to invest in that in the future. For now, I have 4 moss poles and they are only about 2 feet tall with the plastic backing. I don't think the plants have even attached themselves yet....maybe one in one place. Anyway, they are no problem to put in the shower for now. Later, if they ever get as big as yours, I will definitely be lpoking into this. Thank you so much for sharing!

You are very welcome. I thought it is a good option if watering moss poles is a struggle.

I got several of these! Thank you so much for introducing me to this product. I am sure that it will be a game changer and not just with my moss walls. I have two questions for you though: 1. What is the biggest reservoir that you have used so far? 2. I just received 4 well rooted marble queen pothos and I'm using the long method (thank you so much for teaching me that!) The leaves are small intestine and each cutting is densely packed with leaves and about 6-8 inches long. I have noticed that yours and others tend to get to the size I want with a moss pole extension. I would like to make a moss wall using it (thank you for teaching me that as well, I have an albo and an xl Hawaiian pothos one going thanks to you). I have two ideas so far, making it the way I made the other two (just like your syngonium wall), or making a traditional round plastic back one, letting it size up by putting an extension on it, and when the leaves get big, air layering them to start a moss wall with. I just don't know if I should use all of the resources it takes to make a moss wall for tiny leaves. So if I did do the air layering of the big leaves, would they produce big leaves or tiny leaves? That is my fear of doing it this way. Which would you do? And, I have thought of another question, do you think you will ever extend your moss wall? That may be a difficult thing to flush right? I have my albo and XL Hawaiian pothos going on two separate ones and really didn't take that into consideration..

I would make up a stand from pvc pipe (white) that stands at the top of all the moss poles directly behind the poles and use white tape to secure the pipes behind the pipe and drill holes through the pipe and run the pipe to the top of each pole hiding most of the black pipe. Could also do something similar with wood. Or even make a shelf just above the plants that you could run the pipe along.

Do you have an update on how the LetPot system has worked for you? Would love to know! Thanks for being an inspiration!

I have to say I have put one of this in my cart a couple of months ago but, I hesitate because the look of it has me wondering how to hide it all. 😄
@TheLecaQueen Жыл бұрын
Someone sent me a photo on Instagram the other day. They had set it up and did a very good job of hiding the pipes. It looked amazing. I will have another go of arranging them and show you how it can look.

I noticed you mentioned root rot. I fill all my cache pots to near the top and all my plants do fine, the roots are healthy, white and fluffy. I don't think root rot is possible when growing in leca
@hostronic6 ай бұрын
Yes it is. That’s why a lot of people have switched to pon. Also leca can destroy the roots when repotting.
