Good morning. Where do you get your replacement parts for the Bozeman sawmill?

Anything I have needed so far I’ve picked up at Princess Auto. I got my replacement blades mail order from Woodmizer because I’ve heard they are very good quality - which seems to be true.

Thanks for the information. I saw that you had a problem with the clutch. We had the same problem. I have another problem and maybe you have the solution, the blade turns when the motor is at its slowest. I find it dangerous. There is no adjustment to reduce the engine speed, should I remove tension on the clutch belt???

@@BenoitFortin-qx1jc If drive belt tension is reduced too much, it may start slipping under cutting loads. That will glaze the belt and produce excessive heat in the clutch. It would not stop the blade from turning at idle. Not a solution. The motor idle speed can be adjusted lower (i think there is an adjustment), not sure if that will stop the blade turning but it is worth a try. The blade system turns easily with very little effort. At the current motor idle of your mill the clutch drags enough to get it rotating. Heck, when you stop the motor the blade takes a LONG time to stop on its own. Lots of momentum. Not sure that it is possible to have a stationary blade unless you park it in a log. Hope this makes sense.
