I find it's easy to "use", but there are so many more complicated little things you have to consider that as a beginner, I was constantly getting stuck and requiring help on things that aren't easily Google-able.

The only thing that actually bugged me was the stereotypical way too quiet voice recording, even with headphones it's almost overshadowed by solely the background noise alone :/ And maybe a few cheap loud sound shenanigans in the first, otherwise they were pretty well put together.

@59:07 It depends on the base and the branch of service. Air Force galleys had the best food and selection, and the only bad meal I had at a Navy galley was a fish meal on Thanksgiving at basic. But yes, gumbo or some sort of soup (minestrone was common, also) was almost always available.

59:53: That sounds more like an heavy metal door opening and closing periodically, which is unnerving in itself because who is repeatedly opening the door. The first instance was when Observer 11 shot himself (Atleast I assume that's him.) And the second instance was when the Mist attacked you. My theory is that we escaped at the tail-end of the Breakout that occurred, maybe the whispering in the vents are the inmates hiding from whatever's patrolling the facility. Which begs the question, What happened? Was it like an Russian Sleep Experiment-esque event when the nerve gas opened the door for some sort of possession. But on the other hand, weird events seemed to be happening even before the Breakout. Perhaps the forays into necromancy succeeded? But not in the way they intended and something else came back in their bodies? But this also begs the question, why did Observer 11 kill himself, aswell as other staff? Did something coerce them into doing it? Did they find out something they shouldn't have? Was it out of desperation? 1:02:40: Looks like whatever they wanted to keep in got out... It also looks like whatever the Entity's plan was it succeeded and it was merely using you as a tool to escape. 1:03:43: Yep, it's definitely out. So my final thoughts are it's definitely some sort of demonic entity, possibly able to enter the the real world through (whatever?) either way, the lore established that this thing had been happening for a while. And it was definitely using you as a vessel to escape. That was pretty smart. Still doesn't tell me if the Mist or the Entity are entirely separate or different forms. The Entity seems to have a Fallen Angel appearance while the Mist seems to be a black, toxic smog. Which entity is responsible for the Breakout? I do not know, but anyway that's enough theorizing for today my leg is starting to cramp from me sitting in the same position for an hour.

I think the Fallen Angel and the Mist are directly connected, with two possiblities 1. Mist caused the Angel to appear, and/or vice versa 2. the Angel uses the Mist as a weapon/tool to directly interact with the world, vis a vis possessing the test subjects; once it's in their system, the Angel can influence them also the suicide (for observer 11 at least) was definitely intentional, all the powerboxes were cooked and it seems like you're the only viable subject left that the Angel has hold over- I think 11 killed himself not knowing you were alive/existed, attempting to seal it in and keep it away from the world.

I believe it's heavily implied that at 45:20 the mc was introduced to the mystery chemical they were working on before all hell broke loose, what with the screen blurring out and taking damage. It also happened right before the most reality-shattering part of the map is introduced, and that water pit is never brought up by anything else after it happens. Also, everything after that is objectively more dramatic and world-altering than anything before it, maybe the Angel is messing with the mc's head? Edit: definitely messing with their head, the first appearance of the Angel proper is in the same room they'd dose test subjects with the chemicals. (53:15)

Love how it says no cheap jumpscares, and literally the first scare is stalker one. Also for the missing texture, i think you need to increase your decal limit, but it has to do with the decals. Either some addons are in conflict, also it's wise to atleast dissable maps you have already covered if you havent. I think i had that problem too, but don't remember how i fixed it. Edit: Also try verifying the integrity of game cache for HL2 and Gmod, that might fix it.
