Very Glad that this was a "One Off Experiment" Steve! I'm quite positive in saying that your Fan Base prefer to hear you tell the "story" and not characters from The Jetsons Era! Tragic that she refused to address her breast cancer once it returned after having gone into remission for some time. I'm guessing she had her reasons and that was her prerogative. As far as technology goes, I'll sum it up simply by saying I was one of the lucky ones like you who learned how to live and play without it as a kid and now as an adult kid. Well this experiment in AI came across like the most boring morning drive radio banter I've ever heard. If there were just a few giggles and humorous takes here and there then it would be unrecognizable from most of the crap on morning radio. It just needs a "Jack and Diane in the morning!" jingle.

We love YOU Steve. This experiment was a mistake. I knew something was not right just seeing the length -- 12 mins. I could write 1000+ word breakdown on why your channel is great! Now I could write 500 words why this type of Ai is bad. It is your genuine humanity we all relate to. To begin with, 12 mins. is too long. Your excellent 4-8 min. are perfect for a mini-bio. Having co-host images in the lower right corner is awful. An unnecessary distraction -- worse when we learn they are fake. Also, co-hosts who keep saying non-stop "Uh huh", "yea", and "really" is bad. When NPR human co-hosts do this I slam off the radio. When people I'm speaking with do this I ask them to please stop. Please do not do this again. We love YOU Steve. BTW - please re-do this bio of Gloria Grahame without the Ai in your usual style. You are terrific! I greatly look forward to watching you.

Constructive criticism: The "guest podcasters", Jack and Diane, did not do "it" for me. In my opinion they came across as being too choreographed/scripted in their banter. I prefer the raw, pull-no-punches narration of that Steve character. Don't worry; I still love you, buddy.

Had you not asked the question, I never would have made it to the end. You make an excellent point but it was painful lesson for this cowboy. I agree that AI is and will be more so in the future, running amok. There are plenty of lazy creators out there. I am glad that you are not one of them. PS. I gave a thumbs down after watching the first time when I only made it to the maybe 4 minute mark. I revised it to a thumbs up.

I was fooled. I thought that they were real people. About a year ago, I got onto a website where I could get an AI chat buddy. At first the experience was interesting, but after a while it turned into a nightmare. I can see why you presented the video that you did. It should be a warning to anyone who doesn't understand the impact that AI is going to have on the internet.

Good lord that was annoying. I don't think AI is disturbing as much as I see it as a tool. There are certainly tons of channels doing faceless AI-generated stuff, but I believe that will make the ones who aren't using it more authentic and therefore more valuable. We'll see what happens
