Ive owned both the TL and the R4, both are comfortable but i found the TL better especially with my plantar fascitus.

I stuck to my true size (10.5) and they feel so small, I don’t think even the 11s will fit right.

they might be women`s version. so you have to go up 2 sizes which is equivalent of men`s 10.5 but I heard that even men`s shox run smaller so I dont know.

Just copped the 🔵 Shox R4, wanted something a little different. I remember Shox growing up but never had the opportunity to purchase. I wouldn’t mind Nike retroing 🟡⚫️ the Lance Armstrong Shox NZ “Livestrong”

I worked for JJB and Nike themselves the R4 could always be found in clearance, they just didn't sell. The TL were not my cup of tea they were a gimmick. Remind me of that pointless ride in the play ground that had giant springs 😅. NZ were the top line and my favorite. Nike baffle me to be honest. Air max BW are being screamed for. Women and kids tend to get the best colourways also.

I also can tell you the returns on this shoe were ridiculously high. The design was not made to be worn in the rain the sheer amount of midsoles hanging of the springs was ridiculous. Eventually they removed them from most retailers your All sports JJB

I think one of the reasons this doesnt get talked abt as much is the fact that it almost always come in Women's sizing - like the highest Men size u can get is 10.5 and people who are 11 and above get sc*ewed (me included lol)

There are no springs. I used to love this shoe, especially the basketball models. Watch Rose Anvil. The "springs" are just polyurethane

The 2001 R4 all black and red (black suede on laces bit) is still my favourite shoe of all time. I really hope they re release this colour way one day soon. Black and comet red I think they were called

Really sad as at one time these were the best of the best and in my eyes the og silver and red R4 are one of the best ever,however to see the og green and blue box gone and these now rekegated to a gr release im pretty sad
