A great effort by all. Wonderful to see the bond between you guys, Its been said that a strong confident man will always attract a beautiful, loyal and loving wife, who will add substance, principle and blessing to her family. You are both powerful expressions of this. I love the Coonabarabran region, vast areas of wilderness and Australian beauty. Stay safe guys. Love your work. Robert

Great video. Well done kids on your big walk. Have you ever sliced the top off an orange,scooped the insides out, eat the scooped orange. Make a cake mixture, ( packet vanilla works well) put cake mixture in the orange ,dont over fill (about 2/3 full), put the cut off orange top back on, wrap in foil, and cook in coals for about 15-20 minutes. The cake cooks and sucks the orange flavour out of the skin.

That sounds next level, Susan! Definitely trying this one.

Well done guys. It's really rewarding when you get to the top. I was at the Warrumbungles 5 weeks ago and did that hike. We did the whole circuit which ended up being 14 kms. I'm 69 years old and that hike nearly killed me . Haha. But was worth it!

Oh I need to get to Brisbane Caravan and Camping Show. @Elnick are also going to be there. Shakedown trips are imperative as you've proven here. We've also experienced when we "thought" the water tanks were "full" eeeekkkk. Glad you're going back to places again. Our current lap of Australia is our reconnaissance mission, then we're going to do smaller loops to go back to the places we loved for longer. What happened with the zone after a short time of ownership? We're on the fence between a few brands including, zone, titanium and royal flair. Any changes to your ranger? Still running stock everything? Cheers guys 😊
@TheLifestylePioneers Жыл бұрын
We had it for a little over 2 years and were ready for something new. Titanium allowed us to customise a lot more and build the van we wanted. We haven't looked back to be honest. We wouldn't have been able to get the power system to go gasless with Zone either.
@ianbailey4114 Жыл бұрын
a bit bigger than van you where hoping for? ADU seem to have had some influence, maybe a GMC Tow vehicle is next.

Great Vid as always :-) How do you find the flyscreens in this van? I hear that the 'z' style tends to get buggered up, unlike the flat ones? Oh and amazing effort on the hike !! I'm writing this as I watch... What a great family moment, captured so well and is something you can all look back on, maybe with more tears.

Thanks, mate. The flat screens look better, but don't hold up well against wind, especially on the bigger windows.

Hey Simon, I’ve been looking for a bladder that size to no avail. Can you give me a pointer on where you got yours and would you recommend it, ie., good for drinking water?
@TheLifestylePioneers Жыл бұрын
We got ours from FME store. Aussie made. It's early days, but we're really happy with it. Seems to be very good quality.
@Sparkles111111 ай бұрын
@@TheLifestylePioneershey Simon lol for the shakedown. Any further thoughts on the bladder, that I might have missed on newer episodes? Such a beautiful family… love you guys. You were integral in us deciding on a Titanium, which we collect in August !! Cheers from King Island
@richardtimms6645 Жыл бұрын
You don’t need a pump for the bladder. Just let gravity do it’s work
@TheLifestylePioneers Жыл бұрын
It would take some time via gravity, the pump makes it a lot quicker and we use it to fill the bladder as well.
@TheLifestylePioneers4 ай бұрын
For sure, it's just a lot slower. We've found the pump to be really handy for a range of uses and it's lightweight and compact.
@andrewgriffiths2317 Жыл бұрын
Great vid again.... What water bladder did you get? I'm chasing one also, but not sure what to get. Would you use it for drinking water? Apparently some taste pretty bad.

Thanks, Andrew. We got ours from FME store. It's early days yet, but we're pretty happy with it. The taste isn't bad at all.

The new van looks great. I personally wouldn’t run mud tyres on a van, the rolling resistance would certainly add to your fuel bill over thousands of k’s . I know how much difference it makes on my vehicle when I put my muddie’s on for a trip. I really enjoy your videos and think you are really brave for following your dream of a traveling life . Stay safe and enjoy every minute 👍

Cheers, Andy. I agree on the tyres. We're looking at changing them.
