Jonathan how did you order this scheme because is not listed in Hangar 9 yet
@thelightersideofrc3 ай бұрын
@@jorgeapping7974 this isn’t a stock scheme. This aircraft arrived as stock. It was stripped, glassed, panel lines and rivets installed, painted and weathered.

Having built two of these and still flying my original I have two recommendations for your owner. That's a great setup your using overall, the first recommendation is prop up to 22x10. 20 will fly it scale, 22 gives it a little better performance without a large penalty in wattage. I didn't notice any difference in flight time. Second , The elevator has some up trim in it, I had a ruler across the top of mine and it was flat across the top for tge elevator adjustment. Im sure you are aware but as someone who has been flying one of these for multiple seasons I thought you might appreciate the reminder 😊. This plane is a gentle giant and will utterly take off in 50' full flap and land in a 100 the same way. Looking forward to your usual master class in build and construction. Hope your well my friend.

@@thelightersideofrc yep. Did my 1/4 scale Balsa D7 with wood glue and 1/5 scale FW-190. They have both held up well. Not sure I would try it on a composite jet, but into wood wings it makes life easier.

I have that Bronco, too. I would suggest (what I have done afterwards) is replacing the stock ball heads to some high quality ones, like gabriel or something. And for those who have not begun yet, also replace the hinges for better ones.

How are the Pilots integrated into the programming...do they need function assignments..? Great video...love the details of what products you use and brands...and why....your building procedures and rational are "Bang On"!
@thelightersideofrc3 ай бұрын
In order to have control then need a function assignment. You could just plug the randomizer into an open port and they will always be on but better to have logic and control over when they are on. So in this case we will assign them to a function and program them to move with Gear down and flaps off or full type thing.

Have fun to Route the felt 500 Meter wires and 50 connectors. . 😅. But the last thing you need on this plane is a gyro. This thing flies like an oversized beginner Airplane
@superskullmaster3 ай бұрын
But this one is probably much heavier due to the rivets and fiberglass additions ect.
@echosmoke3 ай бұрын
@@superskullmaster its actually not much heavier than the original the fiberglassing is 3/4 ounce cloth and the rivets are vinyl and the paint is water based
@thomasfischer43803 ай бұрын
@@superskullmaster i dont think it will be much heavier. That printed vinyl wrap weights a lot. No compare to Oracover or Ultracote
@thelightersideofrc3 ай бұрын
Agreed but no downside to adding it into the aircraft. The owner can fly it on a windy day and the aircraft will look like it's flying in Zero Wind.
