What Loctite (by number are you using)? The two I have (242 and 242 No's) are either too weak or too strong, thanks.

Sort of. If your relying on the manufacture to put your jet together you may find it can be a problem as well.

Not specifically related to this video but could you elaborate your pitot tube setup in the nose more in depth? How do you achieve the mounting, glued in place? Second, in general you always see the pitot tube sticking out a few cm’s. Normally, that’s to avoid the influence of pressure waves in front of the nose to affect the measurements but maybe that’s not problematic for model speeds? What’s the justification to do it like that? Third, for static pressure, you seem to just leave the sensor port open (no tubing connected). I guess if you want to do that, you should make sure your sensor is in a dead zone, so no possible airflow or dynamic pressure. Any guidelines about that? Appreciate your feedback!

Yes glued in place. just the tip sticking out. Looks way better and less visible. If you can make it invisible and work than that's the best route in my opinion. on the sensor it's getting static pressure from inside the fuse.

Hi, what’s the diameter of your rods? I don’t think you mentioned it. Keep the good build videos 👍

The control rods? 3mm if that's what your asking.

hi Jonathan, but how can the oracover withstand the flight dynamics of a turbine? I don't like this model that much.

will be no issue at all. handles it fine. It's not a crazy fast plane.

Hey jon...I have a question...the clevisis you use ..are they threaded or solder ?..thanks, Larry

Hey Larry. They are threaded. And I install thin CA on the threads.

@@larryfox7279 Sullivan golden clevis is the main one. They make the standard 4-40 but they also make 3mm ones.

Just for your info, this model is actually built by Phoenix models in Vietnam, it has similar flap hinges, internal pseudo carbon fibre finish and design solutions as the PC21 35 cc I’m building now, by this brand. I still regret the poor choice of covering scheme, really bland! 😒 There are actually plenty of military training/Frecce Tricolori schemes that could have been done with plastic covering.
@thelightersideofrc
@thelightersideofrc Жыл бұрын
awesome! Thanks! I think as it's geared towards the new pilot the scheme is well suited and visible!

Can you tell me how many MM the opening at the rear of the fuse is. Not the Stainless thrust tube, but the actual Fuse rear hole.
@thelightersideofrc

it's the same dimension as the OD of the outer wall of the pipe.

Over 3 grand for the plane and they can't be bothered cutting out the gear hatch in factory??? I guess they leave it for those wanting to belly land a turbine 😅

Hi. Love your channel. However, you constantly spell HANGAR incorrectly. An airplane goes in a HANGAR. Clothes are hung on a HANGER. HANGAR 9 makes airplanes, not HANGER 9! Keep up the fantastic work and great videos. Hope you don't mind the constructive comment. Just trying to make your product perfect. Thanks again.
