She is, by any standard except those in 15th c England, quite homely. Her only saving grace are her hair and skin. But that large bum, bug-eyed stare and horsey mouth do not contribute anything. I suspect she is a lovely girl even considering her awful parentage and tries her best. Had she not been a Bonafide Princess and already well acquainted with "Edo's" poser father, I doubt he would have looked twice at her.

Think what you want about Andrew and Sarah but they done a good job with those girls they both working girls they earn a wage their not spoilt and demanding they both love their grandparents dearly Beatrice had a special bond with the Queen hence wearing her grandmother gown and tiara. But I think that when Beatrice looks back on her wedding day it will be the memory of her grandfather standing looking well next to her grandmother that she will cherish for ever that he was there to see her married. You could see how upset she was at his memorial and the love she had for him. Bless her and her husband and family I hope she’s as happy as her grandparent were.

I read several articles about when Eugenie's baby was only a few months old that her husband was on a business trip and was seen socially quite a few times with the same woman. The articles insinuated that there was more than just a business relationship so who knows. It was also said that the palace hushed it up before a scandal occurred.

She really "stuck it to Philip" (for 42 years) when she was also treating Henry Herbert (her "boyfriend" since she was 13 and Henry was 15) and they were neighbors. Henry's family owned (and he inherited) Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey, where the series was filmed) and much of the gold from Tutankhamen (removed by the 5th Earl and brought to England in the 1920s) and the 5,000 acres, 30 miles south of Windsor Castle. The Queen treated Henry like a "common law" husband, from 1959 until 2001 when he died (still on her payroll). She traveled the world with Henry, looking for horses to buy. Lord Porchester was the biological father of Andrew. He has been dead since 2001!

I think that these two sisters Beatrice and Eugenie have very cleverly walked the path of royalty and blended it with humilty and kept their own lives out of the public eye as much as possible. Obviously weddings and other big occasions aside these two girls are a credit to the 'modern' monarchy, workign at real jobs and so earning their own money and being real. As for their looks my goodness me before you talk about others look in the mirror - beauty means nothing when compared to personality and good character. And of course they have had opportuniies because of their family so what they've also had to put up with the media circus their whole lives and everything that goes along with that and they've turned out very well

Bea was emotionally distraught, yet when little Charlotte looked around in confusion, Bea smiled at her so naturally & lovingly, I have never bunched those girls together again. Typical photos don’t show the same startled look that she has in more structured photos, possibly because she is trying to widen them even though she has always had large eyes. My MIL had large eyes and my son inherited them with people always commenting on them even just after birth when they instilled the drops. Tips to make your eyes look wider and more open can help those who have average and small eyes, but Beatrice takes it to the next level that makes it creepy.

I disagree. Both Queen Elizabeth and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore their hair in a half up do and half down. I'm not sure about Sarah Ferguson but if memory serves me she also did half up and half down. Royal tradition still exists. These were exceptions. How lovely that The Royal Family can be flexible.

It was originally sleeveless and had a wide crinoline skirt ( the Fifties, or early Sixties). She looked amazing. Fashionistas may have notices that the skirt has been lengthened. The Queen is about 5ft4 and Beatrice is much taller. It was the Royal Command Film Performance. That has been abandoned I think, or just made a more casual affair for the younger Royals. I suspect because the films chosen ( to help promote the industry) were becoming just too raunchy. It was ok when they were musicals or war films. I remember being shocked at some of the later, more explicit stuff that she was obliged to watch. She hasn’t been present at that event for a long time.

I Google it and the wedding dress and the coronation dress are different. Her wedding dress had long sleeves. The coronation had capped sleeves. Both beautiful dresses. The bottom of the wedding dress it seems to a satiny band. I believe that was altered for Beatrice and of course the sleeves. I didn't see a sleeveless dress. The coronation dress with the capped sleeve had a very low neckline. That surprised me.
