My Tribute to all those brave men that went out to war and never came back. So that we could live a free life. I think this is a wonderful Memorial and I am so pleased that it is staying in Seaham. Well done to all the people for raising the Money to keep it there. Hope you enjoy the Video.

A very poignant issue on seeing this video. My grandmother, Thomas Albrighton served in the Great War . He was injured and ended up at Brancepeth Castle. Whilst here , he met met with a woman who became very important to him as he ended up marrying her . Sadly , I never met my grandmother and my grandfather was very old when I was born and I dont remember a anything about him apart from what I have been told. I understand that both were very formidable characters. Probably where I get my rebellious streak from. Very good video Colin .

Jack Watson 3.09 with his medals from ww2 and those of his farther who survived ww1including the Somme, he did a parachute jump for charity at 90 years of age.
