I swear, I just did comparisons between the Criterion Blu-ray and 4k and guess my player sucks. The 4k looks darker like I’m wearing sunglasses and the Blu-ray is brighter. Watching your comparison, it’s like your discs were mixed up.

Great review! Correction: The aspect ratio is NOT 1.85:1 but 2.35:1. Thelma & Louise was filmed in Panavision anamorphic.
