Thelma Todd was a Lawrence girl who grew up in the mill city and became one of the brightest stars in Hollywood. Beautiful, talented, witty and smart, her star rose quickly. She was in movies with Laurel and Hardy as well as the Marx Brothers- the top comedy acts of their day. But the final curtain fell early upon her tragic life. She died in Hollywood under suspicious circumstances at the age of 29. Here is her story. Host Mark Palermo interviews local historian Joe Bella.
