I own a Shuttle LT and love that bike and think this is a great addition to Pivot lineup. I probably go for the "cheaper" Race build, and I definitely like the range extender option. I would like to have the internal battery removable like the LT for easy storage on hot summer days, but I understand it is engineered like that for a reason.

Great bike. But prices are insane!😢 $9k for base model?! I bought my wild from orbea for $8k and it had factory fork xt and big 750wh battery. Blows me away the pricing difference from one company to another.
@andersonsridebikes Жыл бұрын
This is a great looking bike! I know that Pivot integrates the batteries into the frames for a reason, but it would be great to be able to quickly swap out the battery on big rides. I traded my Shuttle LT for a Repeater simply for the ability to quickly swap batteries. That may just be a big guy problem though! 🤣

@@Montezuma0 that is a nice addition, but it eliminates the ability to carry water on the bike. Swapping out batteries extends the life cycles of the batteries and saves weight as well.

@@benreynolds5179 I was referring to on the fly battery removal for enjoying a big day out on the bike. The motor has to dropped to gain access to the battery on this Pivot. Some EMTBs only require a hex key to quickly release your battery and stick another battery in.

Or two damn decent mtbs, a low mileage WRX, and probably change left over for a new set of racks. Who's even buying these things? The kind of people I imagine with that sort of spare coin for a bike aren't really the people I'd expect to be buying bikes. (Though to be fair, I have seen quite a few similar bikes for sale recently 1yr old, 300kms and half price, so maybe they're buying because it seems like A Fun Idea? @TheLoamWolf Жыл бұрын
Thanks very much Ioannis. Some riders may opt for a burlier fork, though I don’t think most will need it. The bike was designed to ride and feel a certain way for all mountain terrain and trails, and they have the Shutle LT for those who need more. So I would likely leave it as is, at 190lbs.

This is a shorter travel all mountain bike, compared to an Enduro-ready race bike, so travel sort of puts them into different categories. The Shuttle LT would be a closer comparison to the Wild.
