I think the purpose of the video is something else than showing around..it goes deep into the design details..and one more thing is,normally intrior design related videos shows a light up home instead of the original one..this one is classic to my eyes..its totally about perception nothing wrong about your comment tho..🙂

This is one of the most interesting instalments on this channel. It's such a break from the vapid contemporary trends you normally do. There's so much character, and the natural marble, wood, and tile are incredible. I'd love to see more of this.

It's very rare to see a tastefully done old victorian, way too many people completely tear everything up and make it too contemporary (like why did you even buy an old home if you are just going to make it not old???) But this absolutely perfect, what a dream!!!

Also, if you can afford to gut and completely renovate a home... why not do it to a home from the 80s or 90s? Leave the less expensive homes to people who can actually do with it, rather than rich people looking for a little extra money in their pocket lol

You are correct! I was just thinking that as well. Although, I wonder if the Victorian reference here is to the actual architecture style and not the time period? Where I live I frequently see the use of the term “Victorian Style” for homes that were built well after the Victorian period ended.

I'm not sure you got as much out of the Living Room as you could have. A big sectional sofa in a small space is awkward and doesn't allow for more interesting contrasts between unique furniture pieces that are grouped together. The nice height of the Living Room wasn't exploited the way it could have been by using a taller narrow art piece above the fireplace. The beautiful vintage fireplace in the kitchen is lost as a hallway behind the kitchen island. That seems like a missed opportunity to do something that took advantage of that great sculptural feature. Perhaps a narrower island that allowed seating around the fireplace rather than stools that turn their backs on the fireplace could've worked. Or putting the sink on the opposite wall rather than in the center of that room would have provided more space for an intimate gathering.
