I thank you sooooo, sooooo much for all the reunions over the last few weeks. I grew up watching soaps in their heyday (back when there was 12-15 shows, maybe more, on every day!!) and STILL miss them so much. Love of Life, Search for Tomorrow, ATWT and GL were my favorites back then. I am 57 and can remember watching with my Mom as far back as 3-4 years old. Obviously I can't remember major storylines but we moved several different times and I can remember watching in certain houses and seeming to always know the characters. We were always mostly CBS viewers except when my Dad worked 2nd shift about 1968-69 and he got hooked on Days of Our Lives after getting up before he left for work. So funny the things we remember. As I got older and things on daytime changed I became a die hard Y&R, Capitol then BB, ATWT and GL super fan!! My best friend and I shared an apartment in '83 and '84 when VCRs came out. We went to a furniture store and paid almost $700 for one so we could tape our soaps!!! We charged it and made payments! We were soooo excited that we never had to miss them anymore! Those were the days for sure!!! Miss all our soaps!! Thanks again Alan!

Laura has always had the best hair. Laura is right about social media, and it goes past the soaps, but every topic. The overwhelming loud ones who have outrage about anything & everything are really a small group, but they don't stop and make multiple accounts like it's their only hobby in life.

Thank you for doing these shows Alan. I was never a GL fan as it was on locally against GH. However, I so loved this reunion and the Santos reunion that I’ve been watching the start of Manny with all the clips on KZbin. I now can identify with what the actors are talking about in terms of story like when Tony died and Danny was hanging off the cliff. All are incredible actors and Paul was equally fantastic with Nancy as he was with Joy. I loved the through line of Manny. Thank you also to all the GL viewers who posted those classic clips and numbered them! It was so easy to follow some of those vintage plots. I would love a Manny reunion with Paul, Joy and Nancy.

I am just now discovering your podcast!!! Major GL fan here and recently found 1991 GL episodes on KZbin and somehow I think I saw your site on here or Facebook. I will always love GL and miss it so much-the characters and actors. My favorite years were 1980s and early 1990s. I loved Mark Derwin and Mallet. He is my all-time favorite actor and character. I was one of the ones who always wanted Mindy and Mallet to get together! Still bummed it didn’t happen. lol! Anyhow, just want to say thanks for doing these- for apparently the last three years! lol! I have a lot of catching up to do!

Great reunion. Laura has a great memory. It’s really true about the NYC soaps. They were more family whereas the LA soaps were all business. Especially, back then. The video got a little wonky at the end but I’m not sure they were aware of that. I have watched all the soaps but my favorites were GL & ATWT. Keep up the good work Alan.

and unfortunately her acting is the same way. Maurice shines with Watros on GH B/C HE ACTUALLY GETS TO TALK/EMOTE/REACT...LW eats whomever she's in a scene with. That being said, she radiates great energy and seems like a fun person
