A great diversion video, away from Orlando. The beach, the pier and the "Tiki" bar were absolutely lovely. The space centre looks big on cam, but it must be more bigger, up close in person. Seeing The Canada arm, attached to the Space Shuttle Atlantis, made Neil and I very proud of our country Canadas' many accomplishments to the Space Program.

We are doing a Cocoa Beach and Kennedy trip next year in May - got a lovely 2 bedroom right on the beach for a hundred a day, and we are going to do all the non-Disney things we always miss because, well you know, DISNEY!

I am so glad you decided to leave the disney bubble. Fl has some other great places. Ocala national forest and the ichetucknee springs state park it has a river you can lazily tube through. Known for crystal clear springs. There is a park called weekii wachee springs, Silver springs. You need to take a disney cruise and go to key West via 7 mile bridge.

When I was in Boy Scouts, our troop took a trip to what was then Cape Kennedy to watch one of the Apollo launches, and I was excited to go. Unfortunately, I got sick and had to miss the trip. I’ve been to Florida a number of times since then, but never to the Kennedy Space Center. It looks like it is definitely worth the trip.

Wow, the space center sure has changed; as a kid I was there in the late 1970s (before the Shuttle) and it was just the Rocket Garden and a hall with a bunch of pictures and some space gear.

Would recommend clearwater for a few days on your next trip, it’s near Tampa and has the best sunsets I’ve ever seen in my life
