You are still only a 2:1 dog there, and it would be an awful play for a set to make that move and scare off all weak A's and draws, so it's even less likely it's a set doing so. Let's say he has exactly 67 suited, which is pretty much the only 2 pair you worry about there, then you are still the favourite to win with A9h. It's an easy call, only a nit would think otherwise.

I mean it's an insane huge jam, you're probably never folding but you should think about that with everything except a set. Realistically you're probably never folding but like you're not loving life after the bet is made and before the cards are shown. Having the 9 of hearts is bad as well cos now he can't do this is 8h9h. Having people call you out for nit rolling is worth not risking 2 grand without thinking about it.

I got hit by a similar hand on a cruise ship, difference was i was trying to clean out 3 callers at table with JJJ on flop with a nice pot and a Mexican guy hit runner runner inside straight by calling turn and river. 3K pot. I never used to react and be rude after hands but that time I did. Held a 2 3 5 and hit a 4,6. No flush on board or anything. Stopped playing after that. I even questioned the dealer.
