Tonto thought of the mask, the name the Lone Ranger, naming Silver, using silver bullets. Tonto doesn't get enough credit!

Clayton thought of the mask but Tonto made the mask for him

Thats what I've been saying. In the end, they always acknowledge the Lone Ranger as the person that help them

@@Popcorn_Kernel No, The Lone Ranger said he'd "wear a disguise of some sort." And Tonto said "You mean, like mask?" I just checked again.

Tonto even had the faster horse. Scout a beauty more so than Silver I’ve always thought.

It's a 62 year old memory recalled the first time today- seeing silver badly wounded by the buffalo. As a kid I remember watching the Lone Ranger and then afterwards hopping on my bike, ridding away with a "Hi, Ho Silver!"

Last part of this episode is the very first "Hi, Ho Silver, away!"

Had this episode, the first, and the third on VHS. I remember the opening being slightly different though. The opening music didn't have a break in it, and he didn't shoot his gun as much.
@fromthesidelines3 жыл бұрын
The original opening title hardly had any gunplay.....and after the first commercial, the Ranger rode back down the hill, yelling "Hi-Yo, SILVER!!! Away!!!!!"-- and the narration continued: "With his faithful Indian companion, Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains led the fight for law and order in the early West! Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear! *THE LONE RANGER RIDES AGAIN!!!!!!"*

A Texas Black man was believed to be the real "Lone Ranger". He wore no mask and was never a real certified Texas Ranger. But the stories paralleled the adventures and accmplishments of Sam Bass.

Someone could wait until The Lone Ranger had a big shoot out with outlaws, then do some scavenging. Go to the saloon that night to buy drinks. Asked how they will pay for it, throw down some pure silver bullet shells.
