So glad to finally see an episode where Tonto played a big part in saving the Lone Ranger. He actually got to do something more than just be there as an errand boy...Rare.

The Sherriff in the first episode is none other than the late, great DeForrest Kelly ... Leonard McCoy from Star Trek

Wait...the bad guy 'always works alone' and then 'there he is with his partner'...as Tonto would say, 'Me plenty confused.'

The three bad guys should have met in a clearing instead of the shack.

He called him his friend because he didn't want people to figure out who he was his nephew is Dan Reed his name is John Reid and his great nephew is Britt Reid of The Green Hornet
@rogerhuner65663 күн бұрын
Too bad they never followed up with the story of Dan Reid. The recent Green Hornet movie was a travesty. It is too bad they never made a movie about the transition to the Green Hornet. The old tv series was much more respectful but failed to mention the relationship. It is easy to imagine Dan Reid taking on the mantel of the Lone Ranger or how he becomes a newspaper magnate.

At least, John Hart only married one woman, different from so many other actors.

Dan called him Sir even when alone. I wondered if he knew that he was his uncle. He called him uncle once. He is great uncle of Green Hornet.

JAY SILVERHEELS/TONTO WAS A MUCH BETTER ACTOR THAN CLAYTON MOORE/LONE RANGER IN MY OPINION
@AngelCatBaby10 күн бұрын
I love The Lone Ranger and Tonto, they will always be my heroes, more than all the rest, and no matter how many times I’ve seen them, they still are what I’d rather watch …Clayton Moore did much to promote and teach kids about gun safety and the proper use of firearms, he will always be the Lone Ranger in my eyes, and Jay Silverheels will always be Tonto….may their legacies inspire others to do what’s right, may they find peace and rest in God’s eternal heaven … 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Nice to see Tonto get an acknowledgement at the end finally. Always wanted to see sidekicks get more to do or some more mention in these type shows... Be nice to see them solve a crime or mystery once in a while. It would add to show why they are needed, not just to run errands.
