Oh holy…. So two of those I hadn’t watched yet, had been saving for some holiday cheer as needed. The Scrooge is of course delightful, and I was fully prepared to gush about that one (especially the adorable mouses and meeces), but ohhh holy branches of holly, that medley! I laughed, and I gasped, and I ended up crying?! It’s just too splendid and wonderful and it felt like being hit full force with a bucket of the best kind of Christmas cheer. Seriously, thank you thank you thank you for being just the most wonderful shanty band and then some. We truly are blessed by your talent, your joy, your kindness, your generosity. You bring so much comfort and joy to me (and to so many!) on a daily basis. And, in all true honesty, I don’t know how I’d have made it through this year without you, but it certainly wouldn’t have been the same. I’m not the same. My year and myself are the better by far for having found you only just a few short months ago. And now I really am crying, goodness. I’d send you a great big box of Christmas cookies if they wouldn’t be all crumbs by the time they got there. Happy Christmas, lads. I hope it’s beyond adequate, you so deserve it.

I was so distracted by the last day of Jingle Jam that I forgot it was Wednesday. But what a great way to celebrate those 3,448,752.40 moneys we raised! Hooray! Btw, the Christmas medley has broken quite a few songs for me. I always expect things like "jingle all the way, hey roll and go" and "tidings of com-forty days or even more, the line went slack then tight once more". But since I'm Swedish, I haven't heard all those English Christmas songs all my life, so I guess that might make it easier to mess them up in my brain.
