I had never looked up the lore on ikoria and assumed lukka was a good guy which caused a big surprise reading the strixhaven story

MoM spoilers. I think for the MoM side stories being my first introduction to Ikoris made it a favorite, and after hearing this I wouldn't say I like Lucca or will miss him too much. I like the monsters dominance, hypermutation, bonding. What I may miss is Lucca being dead possibly meaning that Ikoria may not have a planeswalker to keep it tangentially relevant to the story. I do like Vivian though so if Ikoria becomes her new home since her planes gone I'm ok with that.

Since the story mainly follows Lukka, Vivien, and Drannith blue doesn't get much representation (storywise). Most of the spotlight cards are red to align with Lukka as the central character. But blue has good lore bits outside the story!
