Zendikar is probably my favorite plane. I like the variation the plane holds. Elder gods, evil planeswalker, ancient mysteries and magics, adventure, and magnificent nature. Zendikar, Dominaria, and Tarkir holds the quality of not being to gimmicky, but actually having many thing going on on the plane. In really like that from a story perspective.

Great work on this series. I would not be surprised if WOTC copies your style in a few years and ask you to become a regular creator for them doing videos on every new set they release. Excellent use of the cards and music really ties everything together!

Thanks a ton! I'd be beyond excited for something like that. But until then, just gotta keep growing the channel and making content you all enjoy!

I love that how much you can feel the fact that Zendikar was designed DnD campaign setting.

Hey The Lorebrarians, finally caught up on all of your video. I really like and appreciate your work. Playing just a litlle bit, I'm way more a fan of the art and the Lore of the MGT univers. I always wanted to find a channel like yours. Going about history of the planes or heroes (and villains), Lore behind cards and no tech or deck stuff, and it's very hard to find good one. So thank you a lot to bring this little joy for me. Keep up the good work !

Thank you so much, and I'm glad you found the channel! I am much the same, I love the lore and stories behind many fantasy series, and wanted to collect and present them in entertaining ways. I hope to keep improving on content for you all to enjoy!

I absolutely love this series! Are you excited to breakdown Kaldheim when it comes around?
@TheLorebrarians4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes, although the older planes are my favorites, I look forward to learning as much as possible about the new settings and sharing it with everyone. The plane of Kaldheim will surely be interesting

This is a really great video!! Do you have a map of zendikar that you made or use? I'm looking into turning Zendikar into a DnD setting and a map would be really helpful
@TheLorebrarians3 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked it! I don't have my own map, but I think there are a couple unofficial iterations floating around. I rely mostly on their general descriptions and cardinal directions/relation to another. Part of the difficulty of a detailed map is that Zendikar's Roil is always reshaping!

Do you think every plane has it's own unique school of magic by design? Because I think only in zendikar you get Animists (granted, I only know Nissa as the only one capable of creating elemental) and Lithomancers. Not even sure if those are race exclusive.
@TheLorebrarians4 жыл бұрын
That's an interesting question. It could be design, although "feral animist" is a card seen on Ravnica. Perhaps they are called different names on different planes. I do believe Nahiri is the only known lithomancer (and the kor stone forgers ) thus far
@andreschion23344 жыл бұрын
@@TheLorebrarians I was always curious on the subject. Though now that I think of it, Ixalan has Shapers, which functionally are pretty much the same as animists.
