People are going to keep riding Maxxis as long as tires say Maxxis on them so I needed to find a compound/sidewall setup that worked well. Double Down front and rear works great with MaxxGrip up front and Dual Compound in the rear. I like Maxxis tread patterns best out of all tire brands and was mainly unhappy with how terrible EXO tires were with puncture resistance.

Hi Mike. What’s the reason you ride the damper fully open on the 36? In your Suspension Video you talked about how important a good amount of compression damping is. Greetings from Berlin, Germany 👍😬
@TheLostCo5 жыл бұрын
I basically only rode bike park this summer and I'm a light guy. Rough trails and long days feel best with very active suspension. This is why I typically never share my suspension settings because they are totally independent to every person's weight, riding style, terrain and bike setup.

I have a 2016 Kona a entry-level 120 convert 140 + 140 rear the problem is it has drop outs and I've been wondering if there is a rear triangle without it would be nice to have a thru axle on that bike it fast and can be faster already dropped the rear wheel 1time so far I've been playing it safe but really want to ride feels like I have a bit of a leash on me. And yes I'm proud of it, it's a originally at 3 by 9 now 2 or 3 by 10 all I want to do is have fun and not worry about the back wheel falling off. A dropout on the rear and it bit concerning.
