Thanks for this. Speculative fiction does a good job of showing us where not to go, what not to do, but it can also present us with futures of our imagination and delight. Futures in which we relate to ourselves, each other, and the world as mature human beings. That's the kind I dabble in and like best to read these days.

Why is it called Louisiana? The festival takes place at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark. Many people wonder about the name of the museum. The short explanation is this - a nobleman and his three wives. The founder of the Louisiana Museum, Knud W. Jensen, chose to “take over” the name of the country house that he later converted to a museum in 1958. The property had been built and named in 1855 by Alexander Brun(1814-93), who was an officer and Master of the Royal Hunt and who married three women who were all named Louise. That's why he named his villa 'Louisiana' - and out from the villa the museum is developed
