So Ant was shooting well yet continued to pass up the ball at times when he shouldn't. The only time this series when I agreed with him passing the ball in a crucial stage was when Naz was on fire and he gave him the last shot. But other than that, whole series he was not actively seeking his own shots for a full game. Especially in this last game. He needed to take over. Then if he fails fine.

I am an anyone who did say the Mavs were competing for a title. I've said it since the deadline, I genuinely thought they could beat Boston. I didnt expect the Wolves, when i did a bracket i had them losing to the Nuggets, but regardless, I had the Mavs beating the Clippers, Thunder, and Nuggets (I wasnt expecting the wolves to beat the Nuggets), and going to the finals and winning in 6. I had full faith and confidence because I know Luka Doncic. He is a certified winner who will die on the court trying than to lose, and now he had a competent team around him. Only people who haven't been watching Mavs play especially after the all star game didnt think Mavs was a contender, Legler and Shaq actually pick the Mavs to win it all a long time ago before all the bandwagonist. Mavs were early top 3 team, shooting lights out beating their opponents on pure offense in the first couple of months, then the Injuries started piling up, Kyrie was out, Luka was out, Dante who was on a tear was out, Josh was out, Lively, Kleba and Tim hardaway, Tim and exum was not the same since they returned from Injury. They started making push after acquiring Gaf and PJ, Then they kept on improving game to game, If I am not mistaking the Mav have never lost 3 games in a row this season so those who were watching knew how dangerous the Mavs were.

I and a lot of people expected the Mavs to go far in the playoffs after the PJ/Gafford trade, aside from a small stretch of games where they lost cause J.Kidd was forcing small ball (1 of them was against Boston and is being used as evidence) they were absolutely dominant. The only thing that made me pause was the Luka knee sprain and he looked bad in the LAC series but has slowly gotten used to it and is now like 85%-90% of his usual self. This is the first time Luka has had a solid team, anyone who knows anything about Lukas career knows thats all he needs to consistently go far in the playoffs. Future is extremely bright for Dallas.

Yes, we all knew that KAT shouldve never be payed this money since the day he signed that Supermax. He is a 3rd option at best in the PO. Maybe worth 25-30 Mio. Hence why I do not understand why the Wolves didnt just trade him 2 years ago when they got Gobert. When I see the Wolves I'm reminded of the Bucks with their defense but their biggest weakness is if the enemy has outside shooting and I was right. Also, Wemby should have won the DPOY award!
