I do that and the loot I get is shit. I’ve had more shit drops then good drops. All fucking duplicates and sometimes I only get 2 fucking golds. I hate rng so bad

HAURAS REMAINS UNDEFEATED. Before WS I was having a ton of trouble with expos and farmed Hauras for the occasional upgrade but mostly stuff to sell for scrap & trade for plat/drop pod resource. Was an awesome supplement to running expeditions. Glad to see this farm is still useful for something else too.

Huge tip for the hunts. People wouldn’t grind less if we could upgrade cheaper and faster. It’s still challenging and addicting to get those perfect pieces of gear. We would also be more willing to try new builds and classes

Thanks for the info. It's kind of sad that the best farm is the same one that's been used since launch. I've been pretty disappointed that they didn't fix the endgame loot grind. Seems like a way of artificially extending the small amount of content in this dlc (really bad for the cost). Pain points are important in loot driven games like this, but they need to feel rewarding, not like pointless busywork. The irony is that the system designed to drive up playtime will actually make me play less than if good loot was easier to obtain and upgrade. I'd really like to try out a bunch of different builds on a bunch of different characters. The way things are now, that would be a full time job all on it's own. Guess I'll wait to see what they do from here.

I found that just running trials and farming the last boss, I was able to get a majority of my gear upgraded every time my AT goes up just from the anomaly dropped from that. I think if you have a good build, but you’re still looking for those few pieces of elusive gear, it’s better to just run trials. But if you’re really wanting that AE, this is probably better.

Tried this at APOC15 as I needed a break from Expeditions. Only rewards about 32 per beast. Good in a pinch, but seems like you really need to be high APOC for this. Good video none the less.

Maybe, but you would need a lot less extract to lvl ur gear at APOC 15.. u might find the "#runs : lvl a piece of gear" ratio to be similar, tho

anomaly extract is only an issue if you have massive amounts of stuff to upgrade or fly through the tiers so fast, it only takes you 1-2 engame runs. im currently swimming in the stuff. my major issue is pod resources mostly because you only get good ammounts of those in the expeditions and they yield shitty loot over all. *looking at you heart of the stom. and since i dont have the gear im hunting for (flame leper hat) i have no need to upgrade a second armor set anyways.

Save all your retries until the end of the trial, kill the last boss, quit to lobby, reload and kill the last boss until you run out of your 3 retries, definitely helps

Ha Ha, I like that "un-attain-ium". We should make it meta and see how the devs like it. LoL But the new stuff might be a bit too hard in the beginning in the campaign. I had to lower my apoc level down to 13 just to get by barely and still be able to get something decent. At least they are making it easier to get drop pod resources. Just doing a expedition now even if you don't complete it, as long as you make it in a decent distance you get some drop pod resources.

1.) Wordslayer is throwing Platinum at you, and Tiago will gladly give you pod-ressurces for platinum (helped me a lot) 2.) Set boots and set gloves are cursed with "max life" as a fixed stat. So boots and gloves "should" always be good purple gear... and those are cheaper to upgrade 3.) New armor sets are dropping everywhere (even the 3 slots mutations)... so feel free to run your favorite expeditions between your trial runs Yes, upgrade costs are way to high. But the xp grind is way to high too... that means: apo-levels will come so slow (later on) you will gain enough ressurces for upgrades easily So give up and call it broken, it's okay... but don't let others tell you it's broken. This is Outriders. It doesn't matters if you are a Rookie or a Veteran, you can ALWAYS count on: "It's bad, but it's not THAT bad." 😉 If you are a close friend of Hauras, try to get your best defense mods at one gear piece (gloves at example) so you can put it off for this fight. It also helps to put out all ascension points from defense perks (avoiding skill life leech, weapon life leech and things like this), so its easier to get yourself killed by adds, at the end. Last Point: You did a great job with Division 2 content, Buzz. It's nice to have you around here again 👍

Yeah they definitely made the endgame WAY too grindy. Minor complaint, but the campaign also has a number of scripted fights that are frankly pure bullshit and can just screw you completely depending on your build (particularly the fight outside the Sanctuary) and enemy stunlocking in general is still a major issue... They have GOT to add an option to re-roll attributes on gear, not just mods/variants

Lycan has this correct this is no longer a farm spot. After about 5-6 kills they no longer drop AE only pod resources and titanium. Get the first kills in and leave. At Tier 23 they give 42 AE each so plus the drops I got about 700ish AE that is non farmable.

I've upgraded every peace of armor and 1 weapon since gear lvl 53 up to 62 now. I have never struggled with the extract I always had just enough from grinding to last boss and beating him total of 4 times then salvaging all the gear. You get so much apoc gear from last boss in trials.

I wish that we were able to upgrade our existing legendaries and epics to legendary status provided we upgraded it to level 51. It's gear we farmed and is now obsolete. I think it would be good to allow the possibility to turn apocalyptic....even if it has a tad bit of cost to it. It presents another option for players who already completed a grind.

Imho, the best way to upgrade is to put on the gear you get from drops while saving up for your God builds. Use the new mats sparingly since it's very low drops and try and keep you max wearable gear as high as you can. I know this will impact a lot of builds but it is better than grinding your fingers off and eyes out. Another option is to just stick to a lower AT level and hope for your God rolls them work on leveling up that gear.

Great vid Buzz. Alas I am running a boulderdash/deathproof dev build and the monsters can't kill me anywhere near fast enough to make this an efficient farm for me. Guess I need a second build for farming these, but that would be double the mats. Catch 22? EDIT : After altering a few bits, I still couldn't get the trash to kill me fast enough. But as a workaround, returning to lobby after collecting the loot and reloading works ok. Depending on your load times I guess (mine is pretty good). It does lower the efficiency a little. But I was still getting 90ish anomaly extract per min at apoc tier 21.

1. They need to make upgrades significantly cheaper. 2. Second characters should be able to unlock any level that they can complete the end game on. 3. Give bonus loot, experience, and resources for more efficient clears. Time, damage, maybe damage taken and/or some team work mechanics could provide this score. 4. Make all activities drop higher loot and experience. I like the hunts and stuff and that would extend the life of the game.

Apoc tiers can only be leveled if you have the expansion. Anything dealing with the expansion can only be gained if you purchased it.

If you’re able to do the trials on a really low lvl and cheese your way to the final boss and farm him with your attempts you’ll get low lvl gear but you’ll get all the tier 2 and 3 mods took me about 2 hours to roughly get about 75% of the all the mods.

Don't judge me he says. My Apoc 18 Pyro and friends are still taking like 10 minutes to clear this guy. This game throws a lot of gear at you, but 20 hrs into the new DLC and I've found 3 items that were an actual upgrade... 2 of those were weapons. Either the Devs think we should have no lives outside of their game, or there wasn't much play testing involved.

My first day playing was a pain like you described. But on the second day I was able to get a weapon with Gauss and Flamestorm. After that I was able to climb up to the first boss. Farmed him few times and I was able to progress. TLDR your weapon mods carry hard you trough the game.

Imho, it is essentially the same grind just with different options to grind. The campaign can be run in about a few hours, the RNG is always brutal for the time we spend, but stability has improved a bit and less buggy than before.

I can't really name a specific reason, but i get bored fast. Maybe because it seems so endless. Just thinking about finishing one class is enough for me, let alone 2 or even all 4.

i read the comments on most of outriders videos and although i agree with how stingy the devs are being with the new material drop rate..i feel most ppl don't understand the concept of looter shooters..what,u want tier levels to be hitted easy and quick?u want the pieces u need to drop like candy?etc,etc...then,everybody would be saying"now i don't have anything left to do in the game"..the dlc came out not even a week ago,this is not a race or shouldn't be..games are supposed to be fun and not about turning everything in speed runs and how fast i can get to max tier level..if u're "tired or bored" of farming trials,do some expeditions,or monster bounties or human bounties..or if u tired of grinding with one particular class,do like i did,start the worldslayer campaign with a different 1..the content is the same but how u play it isn't..ppl get bored because they do the mistake of farming what's "best" to exaustion..hey,the trials are the best way to get apoc gear..ok,let's farm it till our eyes pop..i just think outriders is an awesome game,with a couple of tweaks could be even better but i see games of the same genre(like div 2,destiny 2....) where players receive 1 or 2 or 3 new legendaries or exotics,a bit of new content in a year and a half... and yay,best time ever..just saying

It feel like worldslayer was very rushed, and trimmed of content. The story was waaaaay too short, and the endgame feels very short too. Then that huge teaser at the end where none of our questions are really answered at all. Its like there should be a part 2 or 3 to worldslayer that is missing. I assume there will be another big patch/update similar to new horizon? If they leave things as they are now it just seems unfinished.

If you are with a good group, the arbiter can drop in less than 5 min. Solo it takes me roughly 8 min and with my usual mates, the arbiter doesn't even get a chance to throw down his massive aoe attack. Whole time to get to the arbiter is roughly 15-20 min. Load times is what usually takes up a good amount of times though but we all know how PCF that's their hamsters running their servers.

@@ghosteffect6905 since this comment one of my friends pulled a guy off dischord that used a pyro that absolutely nuked him within a minute or so. Not sure what the build was, but I could see him stacking damage. Once it hit a critical level, his health bar disappeared. It was pretty rad.

The anomaly drop rates turn fun gameplay into a boring chore. Gear matters less than the resource. I am discarding so many of my apo drops only to get anomaly extract. Which is a shame because I can not collect nice gear that I do not need for my build to use it later with another one. This is so unsatisfying that I am already looking for something else to play. Edit: I am doing this farm on apo level 14 right now, getting between 0(!) and 63 AE from it per cycle. I send most of my time watching the beasts try to kill me. This is not what I imagined the expansion would be like.... Next fist person shoot er being released I'm offski ;)

yea, but, whats the point? You get to next tier and you do all the same things and farm the same mats so you can up the tier and do it all over again. There are, what, 10 pod maps, 9 maps in trials and that's that. I quit this after 10 hours of playing expansion, there is no point. I play solo.

Honestly, if you cant clear the trials easily with all gear pieces 4-5 levels underleveled then you don't have a good build. Mods are more important then your gear level. I can hit over 50M in a single hit with lvl 58 avg gear

thumbnail says new best farm spot. you spent 7 minutes telling me what NOT to farm....? I appreciate that you did the testing but the majority or the video didn't need to tell me the worst farming spots.
