The main building and villa look phenomenal; an after-dinner whiskey while sitting in one of those stuffed chairs by the iron fireplace would surely be the perfect way to finish a day. Speaking of food - it looked fantastic as well; nice hearty dinners especially, and the burger in that welcome lunch looked great also. Nice tranquil spa area; some of the other accommodations (pool and gym) were adequate, if not spectacular. The star of the show has to be those wildlife excursions!

And what could possibly be cuter than a baby elephant?😊 I love flying in a small plane because of all you can see! You also feel much more connected to the experience!! You see how very much more beautiful the earth is than one thinks! Being in a tin tube at 30000 feet just feels like sitting in a dentist's waiting office for a few hours. Lol! Thank you so much for sharing. This brought back so many memories of our trip to a private game reserve in Sabi Sands in SA. One of the best things we have ever done. Nothing can compare to having a lion stand right beside a jeep like the one you wwre on. Seeing all the amazing animals. The amazing food. And the fun of being in a little plane toddling along the taxi ways in JNB with all the big jets and landing on a dirt air strip. We have been blessed to do some amazing trips like ride camels in the Sinai Desert and the SA trip was one of our favourites. Given all the water i would assume malaria tabs would be a must? We would love to do another safari but we discovered the malaria pills make me violently ill. I had to stop taking them. Luckily Sabi Sands is low with malaria. Thanks again. This was awesome.

What I still wonder about while enjoying your pan shots: Being located in the pretty swampy Delta region, what about mosquitos "visiting" the open structures of the accomodations.
