Now I know what a donut wall is. Who knew? Great project and video.

I really liked this and it gave me some inspiration for a doughnut wall that I will be building for my daughters wedding next month...

Did you lacquer the dowels? We made this all the way to the point of gluing in the dowels (thank you for this video - super easy!) but wondering if the dowels need lacquer since the donuts will make them “dirty”??
@thelwoodАй бұрын
@@Raven990 Yes, I used spray lacquer on them. Enjoy your donut wall!

Wow, I like the finish but I really want the donuts! You should have made your own dowels--that's a trick I've always wanted to do in one of the many ways I've seen you KZbinrs do it! ...although the last time I needed a custom dowel, I just turned it on the lathe, but that feels like overkill.

The donuts were amazing! I have made a few dowels on the router table, but I definitely wanted a much quicker solution 😂😂 a quick afternoon project was definitely what I was going for! Bosa donuts are sooo good 🍩

I soooo want to do this but do I have to buy a sander ? 😩
@thelwood2 жыл бұрын
You don't have to! Even unsanded it would be great! Just a bit more rustic looking! You also could just get a piece of sand paper and hand sand it

This is great! This is exactly what a friend has requested me to build for her wedding themed "snacks". However, can you recommend where to get get the custom lettering?
@thelwood Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I cut out the stencil with a vinyl cutter. If you don't have one, I highly recommend looking into even a small cricut. They are so handy!

@@thelwood ok, thank you. I am an amateur woodworker and have made many different creations. I have made a couple freehand routed letters and words. Very time consuming but fun.

How does it stand up?
@thelwood Жыл бұрын
Per client request, it just leaned against a wall. A simple stand would be an easy addition if you want it to be free standing
