32 year old going on 33 soon. I prefer the Geoff mentality of cars by keeping older cars going rather than buying new every 3 years. Only new car I have had is the current car i own which has now done nearly done 100,000 from the showroom. Plus there aren't many new cars on the market I would look at buying.

Over the course of a year's worth of vlogging, what's your average payment per video? It must be quite high to justify the amount of time you invest in this venture, and I assume it's more than you'd earn from a graphics design job working for a company.

I belong to that older generation, and refuse to watch anymore video's on EV's at 69 i have bought my last car, and it certainly wasn't an EV. Re your earnings from YT, it's clear that this 1 million views was an exception and your total earnings over the year less expenses and tax are what counts. You must be making enough to pay for the Taycan and other living costs. All i can say that if anyone that watches this video thinks they will get rich quick on YT it won't happen overnight, it takes time to attract enough subscribers to make a channel viable as an only source of income. Enjoy YT whilst you can Lee, some big changes are due soon if you can believe the rumours.

Hi Lee, love all your content and vlogs and I fall into the category age group that watches the most. I know you have expenses and other out goings and spend lots of time editing.......but. Tomorrow I become a pensioner and the UK government will pay me £11,502.40 a year, very generious of them and you just earned 6423.90GBP for one vlog. I was a keen photographer but due to an unforseen accident a couple of years back, my mobility issues restrict me from carrying on with my hobby. Keep making the vlogs as I love seeing most of the places you visit as I have also visited most of them too, maybe I miss my youth and definetly my mobility, so keep vloging Lee for as much as you are able.

All in all, very interesting, and you can expand some more on the actual task of making a video. You'll have a list of ideas, of course, so how does an idea actually turn into a video? For example, this video doesn't involve flight or hotel costs, but other video ideas will be costly from the start. You will need to do a lot of planning and a lot of juggling before you are ready with the camera to start filming. How much of your expertise today can be traced back to your early life of filming with a movie camera and did your dad give you any tips? There! That's plenty of feedback for you to make an award-winning video with maybe another 1 million views and I'm giving you this for free!

It is fascinating to hear these KZbin stats, but most vloggers never divulge how it works behind the scenes. Maybe let us know, for comparison, which recent (last two years) video was the least successful money-wise and whether you conducted a post mortem on the reasons why. Since you often refer to the time taken to do the editing, time in which you are not vlogging and making money, would it not be cost effective to hire a video editor in order to free up your time? If you could use that time productively on yet more videos, you could be quids in over a year, even taking into account the payment for the outside video editing service. I personally find video editing laborious, labour intensive and boring and it's only very occasionally that I need to edit a video.

Thats good to know, I've started my new channel and looking at it as passive income in the future and a hobby, so this is good to actually see. My EV is much cheaper per month and do all my filming local or when travelling on business with work, so my overheads are much less. There are a lot of keyboard warriors and trolls who either a) hate EV's and have never driven one, or / and b) are jealous of someone elses work thats paying off.
