The sad thing though is that the raw ingredients that made up those breakfasts were probably very good and of high quality. Unfortunately, whoever was in the kitchen didn't know a great deal about cooking and absolutely butchered the execution of those meals [pun intended]. A true skilled chef can make a gourmet meal out of a handful substandard ingredients, however generally not the other way around as was evident in this case.

I keep saying it on here... These places aren't interested in repeat customers. They operate on the basis that you won't be back so why put any effort in. She "can't come in here " because she's on her own...and thats the customers fault because ? Notice these places never come on and defend themselves...you caught us on a bad day or the chef was a bit under the weather. Nope , lump it or like it is their motto.

Here's a controversial question Lee. Do you get the service charge removed from restaurants and leave what you want or leave NO TIP at all ? I had a breakfast this morning costing similar amount and the service charge I think was £4.35. Removed it as my cup of tea arrived AFTER I had eaten 80% of my food.

That black pudding looked a cry for help and black pudding should always be round, but nevertheless it looked shocking like the rest of the food and the service obviously even more shocking. Shame though the furnishings and interior looks really good. Massive improvements needed.

British etiquette developed around putting milk in the cup first. This happend as the industrial espionage that went on around porcelain, could not perfect the porcelain recipe Pouring hot tea into the cups produced by the British used to crack or fracture. However pouring milk into the cup prior to the tea prevented the fractures from happening. Although the porcelain recipe improved to prevent fractures the milk before tea in cups continued. ❤❤❤❤

Have to admit looked excellent apart from the eggs but couldn't taste it so, yea. Can't go wrong with the wetherspoons classic brekkies at the moment, amazing value for £3.14 and totally fills me up, quality produce and they're learning to actually not over Cook the bacon, and sometimes they actually do toast the bread, mostly just slightly Cook the bread and beans portions sometimes stingy but can't argue, and never ever greasy. I would say around £8 each but even at that severely overpriced for the quality of food 😮😮😮

Awful breakfasts there mate. Can't believe how long it took to bring it to you. I don't mind a little bit of grease but that looked swimming in it. Even the black pudding I'd have turned my nose up at and that's usually my favourite part. Egg yoke inexcusable. I don'tmind the bottom being slightly crispy but yoke has to be runny.. £30 for that! When the server asked you to move, I'd have walked out there and then. All the little things are wrong, like no salt and pepper, limited sauces and long serving times. The food looked average at best, but the eggs looked terrible and the plates had been clearly left on the side for ages before she could be bothered to throw it in front of you. Not good really.
