Hey macro, im here to just point it out that sepiroths smash atacks have heavy armor even without the wing, and the wing comes out arround 90% and it goes higher if you are in a stock or percent advantage and lower if you behind in stocks, it will come as soon as 50% if you are two stocks behind. The percentage that’s required for the wing changes depending on the stocks each player has. The threshold will be lower if you have less stocks than the enemy, or vice versa, allowing for comebacks.

Some useful information on Sephiroth: - Both fair and bair have relatively low landing lag - Up air has _massive_ landing lag - Down air is not good for getting out of disadvantage due to its landing lag and lack of a landing hitbox - His best out-of-shield option, neutral air, comes out frame 12, minimum, which is _not_ good - The close, sourspot on forward smash is super weak - Down smash has abysmal endlag and startup. Miss, and you're getting punished big time - Forward tilt can be angled to 2-frame and it's one of his fastest kill options - He is very light. As light as Kirby for comparison. He dies super early, keep that in mind - Down tilt lingers for a bit, so it's good at 2-framing Overall I'd say he's a low-mid tier at best since his flaws are actually quite significant. He's very simillar to Mewtwo; he's a "very powerful" glass cannon that can kill "easily", but also die easily. His biggest problem is that most of his reliable kill options are hella' slow, so your best bet at killing is a hard read, or a well-placed back air... Sephiroth is insanely overrated.

Sephiroth is a glass cannon. He's light, cant combo very well, and his attacks are slow, but in return, they give good damage, knockback, and his smash attacks have super armour (with the wing).

I'm pretty sure the wing comes out at around 80% if you have the same amount of stocks as your opponent. If you're up a stock it activates later at around 100%. If you're down a stock it activates earlier around 60%.

Pro Tip(s): 1) Upon successful shield-break, use giga flare at a distance to have enough frames to throw a forward smash attack for those +0% stocks. 2) Giga Flare can shield break just as effectively.
