At first, there was a feeling that nothing would come of it, but the work of a professional showed us that this would make an excellent vivarium.

I definitely shall however I’ve split this channel into three channels. This one will go back to being primarily fish sciences whereas all the critters, reptiles, isopods, plants etc… will be on one of the new channels. The Mad Aquarist’s Realm Natura: kzbin.info/door/fABo1ELT7KLcjtdX1Y2vHA And then the other channel is for the farm

They are probably escaping up at the top of the background. Use some silicone to create a bead that seals against the lid when it’s clipped on Looks great

Great job looks beautiful, do you know if sycamore branches are ok to use with isopods and reptiles? I haven’t been able to find much info on it.
@themadaquarist2 жыл бұрын
They are highly toxic and great affect musculature on livestock but for detritivore I couldn’t say. Imo I would say that animals would have evolved in areas with toxic things adapt and know what is ok and what is not.

Hi Chris! Is the top screen on their tank totally exposed or covered? I hear they need a lot of ventilation but also high moisture. What is your take on that? Looking to get some as soon as I find someone that sells 😉😂
@themadaquarist Жыл бұрын
Yes high humidity and high ventilation. My top is wide open and at least once a well I spray it down. I feel they would do better if I were to close off some of the screen lid to retain more humidity. I had a real crash a year or so ago when I was away for more than a week and the individual that was watching over the critters forgot to mist their enclosure.
@RB-wv2ml6 ай бұрын
Will they keep reproducing or do you need to keep topping up with more from different breeders?
@themadaquarist6 ай бұрын
As long as resources and environmental constraints are met they are very successful
@NTSTAT4 ай бұрын
@@themadaquaristdo you wet the entire setup? Is there a moisture gradient? Lots of people seem to have zero success with these. Is it really that hard?
@Nytro19262 жыл бұрын
The result is incredible. This is a vivarium that show really nice. What's the size of this terrarium ? I just wonder if you will need to water more often with the new stuff inside
@themadaquarist2 жыл бұрын
It’s an exoterra 24” x 18” x 12” tall, I’m going to put some acrylic panels On half of the screen top to retain more humidity. So far no real change in maintenance (3 weeks). Thanks so much for watching and your nice words.
