You think that's crazy? Check out his work on something like the Agent X 2 title theme, Tim Follin is an actual wizard... Because agent x was during a time when he had to use 1 single sound channel, at least solstice he had 5 channels, but with agent x he had ONE.

When I was in a jazz/prog band in 2019 I made my bandmates listen to the original NES Solstice theme and they just couldn't take it seriously. They said it just sounded like beeps and boops to them. I felt like if they couldn't hear the musical composition and tech mastery behind this... then they just weren't real musicians. Or they were pro snobs.

I was just telling my girl about how the music from Solstice was the best nintendo soundtrack ever, and then I found this. just imagine my ass standing at attention with eagles soaring overhead, and cannon report in the background. and then I step on spike and it makes the whistle sound, or I use the wrong potion. I never did find all the parts of the staff and beat the game...
