I would love for you to Itemize the work done so far. Love the drone shots and the loons, the video is filled with so many activities. I cannot believe what you have to go through in the back woods of Mine. IF your town has a "Planning board" watch out for, fees, nickel, and diming you to make money off of your hard work of improvements into someone else's pockets. You and Gracie stay well.

@@TheMaineWoods if you filet them theres a sliver of dark meat about 2 inches long in the middle of the filet, if you remove that before you cook its not overly fishy tasting. Might be some info online about it

It's starting to take shape....and yes there are so many rules that have to be followed...also here in DK...😖there is nothing else to do but start at one end and get through them 😁. You live in the most beautiful place. ❤️ I've seen quite a few films from Africa and yes it's also beautiful....but....you can't just put your feet in the water without being eaten by a crocodile...and you can't go for a walk without to be eaten by a lion....so I will definitely prefer where you live....👍 there you are free to enjoy nature....not only from a car....I can't wait until the cabin takes form...👍😁. take care 😘

The best way to combat deer flies is to cover your ball cap with fly paper and some to Grace's collar along her back. They get instantly stuck!😊

I can't believe you have to use that post system up there in the friggin' middle of nowhere in the Allagash. It's coming along nicely, and hopefully, this heat and humidity will break soon. I know it's not usually as bad in northern Maine as it is in central Maine, but it's been bad everywhere this summer.

He’s obviously within the town limits. Not their fault for doing the their job. Certainly one of the down falls building with in the town limits. Shawn James discusses this in depth on his channel.

I agree you buy a plot of land literally in the sticks with a cabin already on it and you decide to bring it back to life and this is what your goin through. Had you given that a couple more yrs the property would have returned to the land. Most likely the owner would have walked away and town would have lost its revenue. Sure have an inspector or code enforcement officer come out and make sure your not runnin raw sewage into river fine but this is a run around that’s not necessary!!! Takes the charm out of building your homey little cabin in the woods. Now it’s gonna be just another camp. I’m sure you’ll put your personal touches on it and make it a place to enjoy for rest of your life but the unnecessary struggle is ridiculous!!! This is part of reason towns that need people to invest in around that northern and central ME are losing residents every day instead of attracting them. Great video though and that drone footage is killer!!!
