Don’t listen to the ones who want to criticise your care of Gracie. You take great care of her, & she’s healthy & loving. Anyway, you do a great job on your own in the Maine Woods. It’s a very pretty area. I think if I ever visited the US, I’d love to go to Maine. We’re running out of time though, aren’t we. We’re living in the end days. Soon Jesus will be coming for us, & the world will never be the same again. Our pets will be with us in our new home, the new Jerusalem. I look forward to that. That’s a mean looking stove you have there. That’ll keep you warm when the snow settles 😅. I enjoy watching you & Gracie. God bless you Cory. Do I have that right? Did I hear your father call you that, when you were hunting deer? Great tent!! Great setup. See you on your next clip ✝️🙏

OK, here is some helpful information on how to rain seal your tents because ALL of them WILL leak (some sooner than others). When I was a kid many years ago (I'm in my 70's) my grandfather and I used a combination of a solvent and bee's wax and literally painted the entire canvass with a paint brush. Today, there are two modern products that will do the same thing. 1. "Gear Aid Seam Grip" that you brush on the seams and, 2. Heavy Duty Scotchguard Spray for the rest of the fabric. If you are interested in going old school I can give you the formula for that. Either way and with either method you will have a waterproof tent. Blessings!

I always appreciate your videos. I look forward to seeing your camp progress and adventures with Gracie. I get to live vicariously through your videos. Gracie always makes me smile as black Labs have a real soft spot in my heart as do Boxers. Gracie reminds me of my first black Lab. She was always never very far away and always happy to be around family. She loved going to our family camp in North western New York on Black Lake. Both of my dogs love it there. The good Lord called my Boxer home this past Weds/ Thurs. morning sometime. I was home all day on Weds with her. She was her normal self barking at me, eating, drinking no signs anything was wrong. We all went to bed that evening. We woke up the next morning to find she passed in her sleep. She was in her favorite spot on the couch and looked peaceful. There is always going to be some ignorant person to make a stupid comment without knowing anything about you & gracie. As a dog person I can tell Gracie loves you and is never far away from you just like my black lab was. God bless and look forward to more videos.

HI Corey That was a great video I always enjoy them. Just a note I use to use a twin air mattress alot when in Maine and for a more comfortable sleep I built a Grib around it 8 to 12 inch sides and plywood bottom, you can put a rug or tarp inside it. Make is so the air mattress is tight when blown up. you can even put legs on it if you want. The mattress where around $40.00 back then I use to keep a couple around so if it got punctures you can throw it away.. The mattress always remained firm a compfortable for my old worn out back .. A couple of suggestions...one for Gracie is the Cosequin chews. My vet suggested that I use it when my blue healer pulled the ligaments in his stifle. I did that for 6 weeks before he would decide on surgery and it worked. He said he had done that many times with success. Second suggestion is to use Thompsons Water Seal on your cook tent. You can put it in a sprayer to apply. They use it for sailboat sails and awnings so it should work for the cook tent.

Brilliant layout Cory. It has a good feel about it - as much as we can gauge that via video. Glad you got the other tent - it even sounded better quality as you were setting it up. The tidiness of the various wood piles - firewood and lumber - and the whole layout sounds like you are ready for the next stages of development. Praying that the Planning Permission/Building Warrant is achieved. May you know the blessing of the Lord as life unfolds and in 1 Kings 3:9 'Give your servant therefore an understanding mind' May you know His wisdom and guidance as you embark on the next stage and as you faithfully and quietly witness to your love of the scriptures and the God of these scriptures.

Nice tent! The magnetic energy in the woods is very healing. No doubt it makes you want to relax and revive. I love the sounds of nature and the smell of burning wood. Sleeping in a tent on a platform brings me back to my hunting years over 20 years ago. I love the memories of time in the woods! I feed my dog first, too, even though some trainers say the human should eat first, then the dog. I cook my dog's food. His diet is much more well balanced than mine and his fur, skin, and bloodwork show it. He still likes to sit beside me when I eat! 😂 He makes excuses to go outside so he can get a treat when he comes back in, and he only eats whole foods. Raw meat is better for them, but I'm not ready to go there. He just eats raw veggies for snacks. Dogs always want more of a good thing... who doesn't? 🤗

Dear Corey it’s always a pleasure to see you and precious Gracie❤I hope and pray that you will soon be able to make your dream cabin! It breaks my heart when people just have to speak unkind words, but those that have followed you for a longtime know what unconditional Love that you give to Gracie. Thank you Always for sharing your journey and can’t wait to see you both soon. God Bless and with love always from Ohio Cindy❤

Cory, you just do you. As far as the tent, you have to try Canvak canvas water treatment. Plus a seam sealer. Sad to see our old friends getting older. Gracie has been a great friend for you. By the way thanks again for the hook up. I really appreciate it.

The new tent has been working great, hasn't leaked at all and there's been substantial rains since this video was published. I don't know what the hook up is but you're welcome lol

having spent large amounts of time living out of canvas wall tents, I would highly recommend a tarp fly. Cheap insurance and drastically will increase the life of the tent. A stove jack can be added to the fly so the stove pipe travels right through it.

Great Video!!!!! Glad you're showing the entire process. You're carving out and creating a very well appointed camp. Dreamy set up. It's all working out, maybe not the way you imagined, but it is. Great Job!!! 👊🏼👍🏼🤙🏼

Really bad back, why not look at all you did by myself in just few days, and the tent platform really by yourself….hello….Gracie loves it there. Can’t wait for next update. Love new tent. Black flies are bad in upstate NY…yuk…

That looks like a much better tent. I really hope it is. I’m sure you’ve tried it but thermacells work great outdoors to keep the bugs off and away from camp. Also I use diclofenac sodium 1% topical gel I get from the doctor for back pain. Really works well. I wouldn’t worry about the doubters,we all know how much you love of your dog. Stay safe and good luck out there. 👍👍

I'm greatly impressed with the new hot tent! Using the old one for a camp kitchen is brilliant. The entire camp set up is inviting and quintessential "Back Country Woodsmans Camp". Looking forward to a Summer of your videos. That Gracie is a Joy and Blessing. Best Wishes on that building permit. 💪🙏

Hi there l absolutely love your videos. I look forward to them all the time. I love the bond you and Gracie have. l had a dog who had major ligament issues. She needed surgery on both her back legs. I used to give her a powder consisting of fish oil, shark cartlidge, glucosamine and chondroitin. It did wonders for her. Her first leg op was at the age of 7. She lived to 15. She was a Border Collie. I'm sure there's something similar where you live. Continued blessings to you both. All the very best with the cabin. You're an amazing young man who deserves the best in life. Take care 😊
