The Adventures of Tonka the Malamute AKA WaterWolf is super easy to make took us 3 half days to make and mostly was waiting for paint to dry and wood glue ...for the jumps we are now on 2 half days... 😉

Hi! Love your videos! Do you think a malamute would be a good service dog?
@TheMalamutePack7 жыл бұрын
Samantha Meissner Venus is a service dog and Apollo still in training for another year or two... they’re a very stubborn breed that needs lots of training and a good trainer. And a lot of reinforcement at home, they’re also very energetic so make sure to have space and time to drain that energy before taking them in public spaces and working spaces as well... a tired dog is a good dog. The top breeds as service dogs are Labs, Retrievers & Shepherds. But any dog with proper training can be an excellent service dog!! Good luck finding the best match for your needs...

Fantastic video I have a corgi mix, How much shorter would you suggest I make the ramp? Should I cut that length in half?

Christian Bartholomew if it’s just for fun you can make it smaller but if you’re planning on do it to practice for competitions the size have to be 9 ft x 3ft and the las 3 ft in a different color.

The Malamute Pack It’s just for fun, the little guy is a ball of energy and I wanted to do a creative way for him to use his energy and his brain. Also a switch up if I have an early shift and Florida’s heat gets a little too much for me to walk him over a mile in the afternoon. I was going to construct a few other obstacles for him as well so it won’t be just this one.

Christian Bartholomew yeah also make them jumps, in addition to the A Frame, seal them good so they don’t get ruined with the humidity.

how did you do the tire?
@TheMalamutePack6 жыл бұрын
eldar yusufov the tires are from Home Depot, we use a long bolt and screw them to the 2x4 wood frame. Here in South Florida rains a lot the A Frame last us until last month, we are going to make another one with better wood, they used every day.

I have 3 Siberian’s who need to get off their tails and do something with their lives

Stormy Effects the frame last us around a year before the humidity started deteriorating and we took it down before it broke. They love it and miss it we are thinking in making another one, maybe with a more durable wood to see if last more than 1 year.

The Malamute Pack That’s cool. I can’t afford anything like that right now, but I live in a wooded area so I improvise. Big rocks and fallen trees work fine so far.
