Sobek is perhaps one of the wonders of the World of Darkness. Not only is he probably the only Mokole Abomination, but he is also one of the strongest vampires in existence, if not the strongest. If even an ordinary Garou Abomination is many times stronger than vampires of the same age, then just imagine what the ancient methuselah will be capable of. Theoretically, he could become a great warrior in the war against the Antediluvians. If only he was still relatively sane. However, if this were the case, I think he could be persuaded to join this battle, motivating this by the fact that he can take revenge on Set, who doomed him to this existence, and also as a way to regain his glory and greatness, once again becoming great hero. There is even a way to safely contact him via Mnesis using the Rite of Anamnesis to send him a message in the form of a specially crafted memory. Although, this is still a very dangerous idea. However, in the case of the Antediluvians, there are simply no safe options. As always, thank you so much for an amazing video about one of the most interesting characters of both Werewolf the Apocalypse and Vampire the Masquerade. Great job 👍

I played a mummy at one point who's first life(in ancient egypt) was the son of Sobek. So in his third life(the modern nights) he had all kinds of plot hooks cause everyone who had beef with Sobek, had beef with him. Keep in mind everyone thinks that Sobek is a violent vicious god. He's not... Sobek is actually a fertility deity... yea he's violent, but most of the gods were crazy violent. I mean Sekmet was literally just the deity version of a roller derby chick on pcp and vodka... no joke.

This hits close to home. I played a Mokolé named Searing Light, Striking for the Clutch of River-Of-Grass. He was from the Sudd swamp along the Nile in Sudan, a descendant of those who fled via the river when the Setites took Egypt. 5 points of Pure Breed, 5 points of Mnesis, turned into a golden-scaled Spinosaurus aegyptiacus. Had True Faith in Sun.

Great show! Sobek is the abomination Childe of Sutekh. You have just gotta give this Antediluvian a grudging respect for his tenacity to overcome a Celestine's power. I want a mortal Kombat fight pvp style between Sobek and ur-Shulgi.

Have you seen the unofficial Werewolf 5th edition homebrew circulating around? Its not on ST vault because it was an "Unfinished" product and their policies wouldnt allow it, but it really really good, and I think it would be cool to see a video on it. If you havent seen it, I can provide a link as it is free to the public.

it's too bad they are so niche. the one exception of sobek aside, only garou and bastet can become these creatures. it would be neat to imagine some of the other changing breeds being vulnerable but even then i imagine we could only go so far (corax don't have the fangs for it! ananasi don't have the blood! can you embrace a shark?!) but still... vampire werehyenas are IN THEORY legal. and tbh it probably wouldn't even be much of a stretch to make it happen.

Another Abomination I suspect is the greatest hero of the white howlers, Eubh the Ever Living. possibly Gangrel's herald 4th gen Gangrel methusaleh, white howler abomination sired during the ice age. Probably older than Sobek. He is mentioned in the white howler tribe book and Eubh fought the wyrm hard slaying many Wyrm minions and monsters but died many times only to be ressurected by a white She wolf. and Gangrel is known to take the form of a white she wolf. and Eubh supposedly was buried alive after a fight with a particularly strong wyrm creature under tons of ice. There Eubh remains frozen until the time his wolf companion ressurects him again. Not surpirsd Eubh is buried somewhere in Greenland or Antarctica, when he wakes up and find how corrupted his tribe has become this guy will go berserk not srurpised Eubh a rank 6 White howler hero and a 4th gen Gangrel Methusaleh will be the bane of the Black Spiral dancers and anyone else who gets in his way. I think Eubh can give Sobek a run for his money.

Good on Sobek the Weresaur Abomination from both VtM and WtA my friend! Sobek is my favorite Egyptian God and one of my fith favorite mythical creatures after dragon, werewolf, Fenrir, and hellhound because in Egyptian Mythology is based on the Nile Crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus). And crocodilians are one of my favorite reptiles because they're along with the birds are both descendants of the dinosaur dynasty. Whether Sobek is a good guy or a bad guy, he will all be the most well known, ferocious, and the most iconic crocodile god in Egyptian mythology. In my opinion on Sobek, he will be took a form of a giant crocodile.

As some one who has worked with and studies crocodilians I am sorry but I have to address my pet peeve. Crocodile not Alligator God. Only two countries have alligators America and China... Sorry again love your stuff but that is just my little pet peeve. Also side note at one time Sobek was one of the most powerful Gods in Egypt. His city was Crocodilepolis (may be spelt wrong).
