I like the Vesk, and learning about their government was very edutaining! Although, it is a bit silly that their leaders call themselves "despots", since IRL even the dumbest dictator wouldn't want to called something like that.

Well it is an actual form of government. From ancient Greece in fact. So it's not too surprising. Despot just gives us an idea how Paizo wants us to see them.

@@TheMapleTable I like both levels, the high level triggered my interest and I have ordered Near Space, because I want to know more now. I like info on Starfinder, so I will appreciate both high level and some in depth info, if some of the worlds stands out in your opinion.

Are all of the splotches of color in the intro to the video the entirety of starfinder? I have watched the pact worlds and this veskarium video but is there that many more planets? Are there books that cover all of these because they are really interesting.

there are a few more published planets that I haven't covered in a section of space called Near Space. If you are looking for planet lore you will want to look at the Pact Worlds book and the Near Space book for in depth planet lore. I do plan to go more into certain planets. There is also a tool Paizo has created called the world builder, and its a set of cards to generate a planet on the fly for your adventures.

Interestingly while the Vesk are technically one of hte bad guys opposing the pact worlds, they actually run their empire a bit better than the Drow. They actually take care of their subjects.

From a pact world perspective yes they are the "bad guys" but ultimately they are just another empire, one that actually gives a crap about its subjects.

How to make apple pie: Ingredients 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 6 to 7 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples 1 tablespoon lemon juice Pastry for double-crust pie 1 tablespoon butter 1 large egg white Additional sugar In a small bowl, combine the sugars, flour and spices; set aside. In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Add sugar mixture; toss to coat. Line a 9-in. pie plate with bottom crust; trim even with edge. Fill with apple mixture; dot with butter. Roll remaining crust to fit top of pie; place over filling. Trim, seal and flute edges. Cut slits in crust. Beat egg white until foamy; brush over crust. Sprinkle with sugar. Cover edges loosely with foil. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly, 20-25 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack.

The Vesk seem like the easiest rulers. It’s like “Alright you won the war, we now report to you. What do you want from us?” Vesk: Uh.. whatever you were doing before is fine. We just wanted to win. Also we’re making a base here, this Vesk is in charge. Bye!”

Science issue: Vesk 2 would have waves on their oceans. Waves are created by wind. Moons affect tides, not waves. Sorry, it just made me twitch a bit.
