My dad passed away last yr but when we were young, August was the time he'd take time off from work and we'd go on a road trip every yr. Just us in the car and a map. Sometimes we slept in the car or a shady lodging coz that was the only place available and other times it would be a nice hotel. He was so much fun

Look into getting airbags in the rear they go inside the rear springs and help with carry the extra load when you’re loaded up and prevent the car from sagging in the rear check (airbag man)

No, they did not. They were perfectly dry. The trick is to avoid places where water gather. If the place is slightly slanted, water will drain well and none will get inside the tent.
