Look at the five heroes we saw in the Void. Elektra, Blade, Johnny, Gambit, Laura. An assassin, a hunter, a hotshot pilot, a gambler and a (slight feral) young adult (though she is a lot better in D&W) All these types are the ones that will jump first without thinking. Except for Cassandra, most of the villains shown in the void are the same way. Jump first. Think later. That is likely the profile that Paradox targeted as possible agents that can be used in various timelines. They likely looked at the fine print, like Wade did, and rejected Paradox's offer, only to get sent to the Void. We saw that Paradox had an agent in the Void.

If Paradox attempted to recruit Laura and failed then chances are that he put her in the Void for the simple purpose of her not only being a threat to his plans but because she could prove useful later. Although there was the threat of Alioth in the Void, Paradox would probably still use her and the heroes that were banished to the Void for something later. If we're to believe that the TVA is still making sure that no version of Kang can become a problem then it's best to have a back up team of heroes and villains in the Void if all else fails. Paradox might have used them to fight back against Kang should any plans to stop a version of him fail. I'd even argue that they would/could be used against Dr. Doom since we're suppose to be getting him later on too; if he becomes a multiversal threat, kicking off Secret Wars, and causing problems in all timelines that could stop certain heroes then you have some in reserve to fight back just in case he doesn't get to them.

no guys, the people in the void that were there were there from the old kang ruled TVA. electra was put there the second the netflix electra became cannon, old mags was put there the second micheal fastbender played him, johnny storm the second the new FF was made, gambit the second they cast tatum but them trashed the production. essentially the second disney purchased fox every single character ended up there save deadpool and wolverine, the two characters whose popularity and plot device allowed them to stay in multiple timelines. paradox had nothing to do with it. he couldnt prune any previous time lines because his pruning machine was not done. deadpool was his first and only target.

Let us not forget that the TVA overlooks what would otherwise be gross violations of the timeline because these actions ultimately serve the sacred timeline. E.G. Traveling through time to return the infinity stones. The avengers were given a pass on this because it was considered a scheduled event.

Paradox simpley pulled them for ways to kill Cassandra when they disagree he prune them right after having them witness there timeline being wiped. My read is this is a meta movie, and these characters in the void is in a limbo because Marvel doesn’t know what to do with them. They are FOX Marvel characters “invited” to join the MCU (sacred timeline) but casted into the void because MCU IRL still doesn’t know how they would fit in. The world these characters come from will teeter out of existence because all the supporting characters in previous FOX movies will not join the MCU.

oh i see youve addressed this at the end - but then it kinda makes me wonder if Wanda wasnt even on their radar at the time - it seems to me that America was doing some heavy duty reality jumping and was really breaking some star-shaped holes in the multiverse. its possible they wanted Wanda to solve the threat because the TVA knew better than to get in her way. still im not seeing the same response to Wanda's dreamwalking that Dr. Strange got from Charlize Therons character (cant recall her name) and i think its because Dr. Strange and America were physically entering other universes, while Wanda only dreamwalked. Even when Dr. Strange dreamwalks the biggest problem seems to be that he inhabits a dead body, something Wanda didnt do. as far as i know, dreamwalking is bad for the soul, but not necessarily bad for the multiverse - meaning Wanda isnt causing incursions, but Dr. Strange absolutely is (spiderman, multiverse of madness).

As you said an incursion is when the barrier between two worlds is damaged by the presence of an individual from one timeline is in another timeline, but if Paradox is deleting timelines then there would be no risk of an incursion because the other timeline no longer exists.

Wouldn't the incursions caused by heroes being moved to other timelines be prevented by the pruning of their original timeline? An incursion is a result of the two timelines colliding, so if one of those timelines was removed, then there would be no collision, and therefore no incursion. Seems to me like Paradox had thought his plan through pretty well to avoid these sorts of issues.

Here is another look...X-23 was pruned right away and grew up in the Void. Remember Gambit said he thinks he was born there - because he doesn't remember as he's been there so long. All that's said is they were a problem in their timeline so they got pruned. Who knows how long some of them have been there. The TVA put Laura back in her timeline where she belongs. Another theory...pruning Laura NOT Wolverine is what caused the bad timeline and now she's returned it will be normal; NOT because of how DW killed Cassandra. Loki needed DW to find her and possibly the others in the Void to set the timelines right again. I think it's a little simpler than she was going to fight for her timeline. If at the death of logan he was the anchor It's possible that the short time Laura spent with Logan combined with the knowledge from the comics to might have turned her into the new Anchorage, and he wanted that universe to end no matter what.

The one question open for me in this theory would be that the tva noticed the activation of the time ripper in deadpool and wolverin, and there is not much for me to suggest that Paradox had a mechanism up that would hide this. So how could he have used time rippers multiple times already wihout the tva noticing?

I think this video is digging deeper than what it actually is. I think the void is just a play off of the multiverse about where these characters are that we know exist in the MCU but just never seen again. I'm sure if the budget allowed it, we would've seen Eric Bana and Ed Norton Jr. I'm just most disappointed we didn't get a Green Lantern cameo. Not even a Green Lanternpool variant.

Here is my question, how did a bunch of TVA agents with no special powers able to catch and send some of these super powerful people to the void. Someone like X23 who is lightning fast and with super senses or Blade or Azazel who can literally teleport away in a faction of a second..

It’s called technology also the tva knows everyone’s weakness they catch you when you are caught off guard. Case in point with Wade they nabbed him at his birthday party. He literally assumed that they were strippers. Again see, caught off guard. It’s pretty self explanatory.

Wade, Deadpool, is by so far stronger than those TVA agents, he is trained in all types of martial arts that are pretty much second nature to him plus he has lightning fast reaction time. He can lift about 2 tons and he once threw Goliath at Hercules like a rag doll. To pull him, it would be like a one hundred pound dude trying to move a 500 pound person that can react and kill you in a friction of a second... And that's just Deadpool. There are other even stronger powerhouses like Dr. Strange and others with super senses or omega level powers..

@@fridayblues216The TVA see everything that happens to everyone in every timeline correct? They can also freeze people in time. Loki did this to B-15 in season one. So how easy is it for the TVA agents to freeze someone who is otherwise superhuman. Same happened to Loki and Sylvie when they tried to kill he who remains. He kept jumping or freezing them. In Deadpool’s case if he and the TVA existed, paradox could just simply send the TVA agents to any point in the timeline where Deadpool is jumping or leaping through the air and just open up a portal and boom. He’s captured. Remember when he grabbed the time pad after attacking paradox and he leaps (in slo-mo) into the air opens the portal right above the admin guy who was sitting at a desk and holding a mug. TVA do this all the time to their targets, we just don’t see it.

@@fridayblues216 You are thinking too realistically and it’s unhealthy. The film is R-rated for a reason. Violence is necessary and the tva agents are the sacrificial lambs that get slaughtered. They served their purpose, narratively speaking. Every story contradicts its own logic. If you try to apply common sense or reasoning to fiction, you will go insane. Stop it. Just enjoy it man. Thinking about all these unnecessary details or flaws goes nowhere. Every movie has flaws dude. Also every story needs disposable characters. The tva are just that nothing more. The storyline is convoluted anyway. The anchor being thing is silly. Life goes on.

Well if you consider the idea that a timeline dies once it loses its anchor being there is another possibility. It doesn't make much sense given that the timeline existed before Wolverine's birth and even if he dies one could still jump back in time to when he is alive on the timeline. So what if Wolverine being the anchor being was transferred to Laura, but Paradox not realizing this attempted to remove her from Earth 10005, and by removing her from that universe effectively removed the new anchor being, leaving the timeline to start withering and dying off. Remember we're told at the end of the movie that the timeline is no longer dying, and who is shown at the end of the movie back in 10005 sitting at the table, but Laura. By restoring her to the timeline it effectively saved it. If this were the case then it's likely that Laura might have been pruned a much longer time ago and has spent years growing up in the Void. After all, it doesn't matter what year in the timeline you were pruned because they all go to the same place, and traveling to points along the timeline is simple for the TVA. Once Laura was removed and sent to the Void the timeline began to wither, the TVA detected this and ordered Paradox to monitor it, but he decides to destroy the timeline entirely, either due to his impatience, or to cover up his screwing up and sending Laura to the Void, dooming that universe. However he still intends to save a few heroes from that timeline to move to the main timeline, but if he's not careful he might create an incursion, but if he destroys that timeline first the two universes can't make an incursion as one no longer exists. Thus he must first build the machine to destroy the universe and then grab those he wants to keep, move them, and blow up the timeline before the incursion has time to take effect. After all if dreamwalking was the actual threat to cause an Incursion then the Illuminati would have been far more concerned with Wanda than Strange who was there by more direct means. I think moving from one universe to another is like having two balloons next to each other and poking a hole causing the two universes to touch and the air in one to flow into the other causing the other to deflate, or leak out between the two causing both to deflate whereas dreamwalking is more like stretching the fabric of that balloon to overlap with yourself on another balloon, but the air inside both balloons never touches.

The "times" don't need to line up. Because the TVA are able to go from universe to universe and ANY point in time, along said universe. Example: Loki was able to visit a natural disaster at some point in the future from the point in which he was broken off from.

Both came from 616 where logan died, which is when the timeline became doomed. Once logan was revealed as the anchor being for the universe, that led me to believe that old man logan was not supposed to die where and when he did. I believe X23 was supposed to be captured and weaponized, and logan was to live on being the anchor being, hence why she was banished to the void, her "variant" indirectly caused the destruction of an entire timeline because she was saved.

So I have a different theory on how someone could be pulled from one timeline to another and not cause an Incursion. If one of the timelines is already gone then the timelines won't collide because there is nothing to collide with.

I believe Laura and the kids she was with when Logan died. The kids and Laura went to the school for gifted children. That universe’s Charles Xavier sent them all to the void not banishing them but to go on a mission but 3 hour after they got there the portal closed and they were all trapped but months go by they all eventually died except Laura.
