TheMBTADog - Riding with Tim: MBTA B Green Line Inbound via Commonwealth Avenue

TheMBTADog is proud to present a new series called "Riding with Tim"!
Tim is a MBTA Green Line trolley motorperson (soon to be inspector!) and this is one of many rides that I have been fortunate and thankful to be able to record with him.
Each ride that I have filmed with him is different and unique in its own way such as type of vehicle, time of day and kind of weather. This particular ride of the B Line was made on a Type 8 vehicle on a cloudy winter's day with some snow on the ground. Enjoy!

When he pulled up at Warren Street, he said, "Oh no. High school kids. I forgot about this" LMBO. I have 2 solutions - Solution 1: After pulling out from the Washington Station, have the announcer say, "This trolley will be running express bypassing all stops to North Street." Solution 2: - have the MBTA maintenance install ejector seats and install the corresponding ejector seat number button on the farebox. When the students get on and they get too loud, kindly press the corresponding ejector seat number and they'll be ejected in seconds up in the air. Then you say, "Thank you for riding the green line. Have a nice day."

Is this video in slow motion? The trolleys are running pretty slow, you will reach your destination even faster with a bicycle than with those snakes on rails. In Germany, the tramways are running much faster through the city.
