change in QD was a decrease of 20% therfore -20%, Descrease in price was a 20% decrease therfore -20%, the - and - cancel to make 1.25, im confused how you got -1.25

Mate what? Quantity demanded = increased by 25% , price decreased by 20% so it becomes -20% --> +25%/-20% = -1.25
