Beehives is not made for most professional writers or even journalists (who know nothing about building and designing a site) it is made for people who can build and design a website/landing page/a sign-up page, given the right tools. Most writers can't be bothered to take the time to learn how to use tools to design and build a site. When Beehiive provides a choice of "THEMES & TEMPLATES" like Ghost and Substack, that will be the day when most writers will flock to Beehiive - It's a no brainer.

@@beehiiv but where is the simple three colour selection "Colour Palette" (ie. 3:26 in video)? I can find the website builder global colors, but plugging colors in there is really confusing, I have no idea what each setting does. I wanted to reset the 3 colors I picked out when I first signed up but can't find my way back there. This whole theme setup and website design is really NOT intuitive! I'm wasting so much time on this... What's the difference between what you do in the Settings-Design Lab and the entirely different Website Builder section? They do not even seem to be linked. confused

A post can be published to email, website or both. Post and newsletter are terms we user interchangeably. The website, or web archive, is where your content lives on join IF you chose to publish a post to the web

@@beehiiv thank you. Where do I set up the website. I did I see that my sign up page is active. Does that website has some sort of menu where I can navigate between old, publisbed posts? Or each post has its own insependent url?

@@ballclubco Apologies - it's called Horizontal Rule in the new editor. I just pinged engineering to make the language consistent across theme settings and editor.

I have got a complaint. On the setting, the buttons are aligned to the center. During writing, the buttons are aligned to the left. I am finding it very difficult for it to move to the center. Thanks.

Once you create a button, in the button settings, you will see options to justify left, center, or right.
