Don't knock me on this but a new one to me on column sizes was auto. No idea how that slipped by me, always just used row. Not entirely related but this video made me think of it. I always use values and never thought of auto.

Yeah, it's not a very common setting to use, as it's only useful in certain circumstances. But good to know it's there.
